Remarks

As compared to other colleges in Kolhapur, I prefer this one.

Entrance Preview

There was no particular admission test as such but we were admitted on our marks secured in previous year. The office staff is supportive and co-operative.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum as compared to other universities like Pune and Mumbai, is quite moderate in terms of difficulty. However it covers major parts needed to be a professional

Internships Opportunities

Not many but Infosys paid visit twice. However the process was unorganised and hectic for students. They offered finance related jobs. But the interviews were not properly organised and inconvenient for students

Placement Experience

0.5

Not much exposure in terms of placements. Only Infosys visited to recruit Freshers. No special steps are taken in terms of placements.

College Events

3

College annual gathering was fun. My personal favourite was Dandiya organised by the college, I had a great time. Also a get together party was organised for the ex students. It was a grand event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much feasible. Even scholarship or free ships are awarded. Fee is as low as 1200 for a year and 500 for each semester. The processing for the same is convenient in college. No long ques or lengthy forms required

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships or free ships are available. The process is also simple. No long ques or waiting. Just a simple form and within few weeks the amount is refunded.

Campus Life

1

It's a good college with decent environment, helping staff. Staff doesn't waste time of students in unnecessary processes. They are happy to help and guide.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

None offered here. Hostels of college are not available. One has to hire private rooms. Food is not covered under the course. It's the students personal expense.

Alumni/Alumna

They are motivating n participative. They organised and participated in events like the get together arranged for ex students as well as rallies organised by the college

Exam Structure

Exams were not so hectic. It was semester pattern. But they were held in some other college due to not sufficient rooms availability. So that was a major drawback in terms of exams.

Faculty

2

The faculty was supportive and helping. They motivated students to be participative in academics as well as extra curricular activities. They didn't waste time of students in unnecessary processes. They were happy to help and guide

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
