Remarks

The only thing I would like to say that the focus is just upon making the campus look externally beautiful but the condition of hostels is totally neglected.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum which Amity follows is according to the guidelines of UGC so they cover all the important subjects related to your domain nothing is left and the division of subjects semester wise is quite easy as the level increases with each semester. We also have many non core courses like communication skill development course, behavioral science, foreign language etc. Which helps you to groom your self and makes you industry ready. University is euipped with good, and they allow you to do research work if you have good idea to work. Many industrial visits are organized thouroughout your course curriculum University provides 100 percent placement assisstance and gets you places in some of the best firms of india like TCS, Byjus, Accenture etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

Amity promises to provide 100 percent placement assistance and I can say that this is actually the scenario, if you have the right skills then they won't leave any stone unturned to provide you placement. They have centralised placement so that you may not miss any opportunity, this means that a student from Amity jaipur can go and sit dor placement in Amity noida. They start preparing you for the placement season 6 months before the actual placements starts, this preparation phase includes mock aptitude test series, PI training, GD sessions etc. But they lack quality placement opportunities the average package offered is just 3 lacks. 100 percent of the students who wants to get placed.

College Events

4

Amity organizes many events thourough out the year. The first event is the sports event of our university that is the Sanghatan, students from all over the university come together and compete in around 40 different sport events, then comes the aagman the official freshers party of Amity. Then we have the annual event of Amity that is Odyssey, it is the annual cultural fest of AUR. In between many educational events are also organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite expensive in Amity, they may call it a nonprofit organisation but in no way it is like that. From academic fees to hostel fees is quite higher than normal private universities. If I consider my program than the 4 year fee of my program is around 8 lacks excluding hostel which costs you around 60 thousand a year extra.

Fees and Financial Aid

They do offer scholarships, if a person gets more than 90 percent in his 12th then he gets 100 percent scholarship, if the score is between 85-90 percent than you will get 50 percent scholarship and 80-85 percent scores get 25 percent scholarship. The scholarships continues until you maintain your score.

Campus Life

4.5

In Amity jaipur the boys to girls ratio is quite same as any one who clears the entrance exam gets the admission and Amity offers a wide range of courses for all from fashion tech. To food tech so it has courses for all. We have many cultural clubs in Amity like dance club, drama club, anchoring club, sports club etc. Thouroughout the year various events and workshops are organized to keep to engaged and build your skills. Amity treat all the religions equally and there is no discrimination at all on any basis.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel in Amity jaipur are not that good they have a huge scope of improvement. You get a option to opt for AC room which is exactly the same as the non AC one but costs you a lack more than a nin AC one. The toilets and bathourooms in hostels are very small and more over the rooms are also small. Amity should improve there hostels as it doesn't go with the overall image of the university.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are quite helpful they help you out where ever you need them may it be academics or any other thing they never ignore you.

Admission

Since my school days biology fascinated me a lot so I always wanted to persue my career in the field of biosciences and as biotechbology is the most interesting and growing domain I opted for it. Amity have a good name, it is a brand and more over the facilities like labs, infrastructure, hostels are all top notch and the faculties it has are all well versed into their respective domain and as they have a branch in my home town Jaipur I opted for it. The admission process was quiet easy, you just have to fill a online form on their website and within few days they assign you a entrance exam date which you have to clear to get admission.

Faculty

4

One thing about Amity is for sure the best and it is the faculty they have, I can say that the faculty of my university is well equipped with all the skills they need to prepare a student to make their own place in this huge world. You just need dedication and these faculties are always there for you. We have faculties from all the age groups from 26 to even 70 years the average age is around 34-35 years. The minimum qualification required to become a faculty in Amity is PhD in their respective domain. The number of lectures are decided by the number of credits a subject has got and accordingly each subject has lectures every week.

The course curriculum is well structured making it largely relevant to the academics. They give projects and and clubs are also there for experiencing new things. Core subjects are comprehensive but some courses benefit from more frequent syllabus updates. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
