Remarks

Amity is the place you should look for for Graduation especially. The people here will be a huge support and advantage for the rest of your life. It is the place for all round development of self and allows you to go 360° around your thoughts. You just need to have the self-interest and zeal to do something great, and you'll find Amity family always backing you up.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is dynamic and well structured. It covers all domains under the biotech field from industrial and research point of view. The exam system is semester based, and each semester consists of mid-sem exams (30% weightage) and end-sem exams (70% weightage).

Placement Experience

4

Amity University has a well dedicated and organized placement cell that ensures good job opportunities and placements for the students in high numbers. Also internships and trainings are offered to students as per demand. The major recruiters are Byjus, Capgemini, Decathlon, IBM, GD Research and Lifecell.

College Events

5

The college fests include Odyssey (techno-cultural fest), hour Conclave (interactive session with leading company hour's), Sangathan (inter-Amity sports meet), Under25xAUR (celebrity studded event) and various movie promotion events. Mohit Gaur (singer) is an Amity alumni. All the events are massive.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Amity University Rajasthan offers many courses being India's biggest chain of not-for-profit educational institutions. The average fees of the courses are between 4-8 lakhs (entire course duration) and hostel accommodation is Rs. 50000-60000 (per year). Amity offers many scholarships and various fees reduction schemes for those who cannot afford the slightly expensive fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various scholarships are offered to students depending upon their percentage in 12th class. Fees discount is also offered to students in case of a deceased parent, low income in family, and sometimes even upon sincere special request (only by the governance of the management). I was able to achieve 50% scholarship on the basis of my percentage in 12th class.

Campus Life

4.5

Amity is a ragging free campus and thus very interactive and dynamic place to learn. The extracurricular activities are well on spot with all sports available, indoor shooting range, horse riding club, taekwondo and karate club, gym, pool and snooker club, and many such recreational groups. The students enjoy their part of freedom while being safe. The organized behavior of conducting fun events is the best part. Students can also come up with new groups like fashion and modelling, anchoring, dancing and music band groups.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are available as both AC and non-AC rooms. The rooms are double occupancy sharing with separate beds, cupboards, chair, table, keys and bedding. The hostels have wifi and lifts available and are very clean and well maintained. Each hostel has a separate Nescafe snacks counter for late night food. Food vending machines, barber shops, salon and medical rooms are also available. Overall the infrastructure is way above par with in house Cafe Coffee Day, Sankalp, Cafeteria, Food trucks, departmental and stationary stores.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni from Amity have made themselves reach huge places and they are also invited to annual alumni meet for interactions. All passouts from Amity bring in better opportunities for the current students and treat them as a family with love and respect everytime.

Admission

I was a medical aspirant but could not make it big in NEET. The next growing field was biotech and it had a great opportunistic future. Amity was one of the most well-known provider of this course. So I filled in the online application, gave a written admission exam, which I passed and secured admission in the university.

Faculty

5

All faculties are well qualified (PhD holders) and are very supportive. The faculties make sure they know you well through mentor-mentee system. The guidance is available 24*7*365 without hesitation, whether for academic or co-curricular reasons. Each faculty has a distinguished assigned lab which is well maintained with the state-of-the-art equipments and infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.
