Talking from the infrastructure to the management each and everything is very good in our Institute. The faculties and the students share a great bond and that helps our Institute to grow.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is an integrated program of 5 years and includes all the management as well as commerce-related subjects with those of tourism-related. The course is very relevant and helps us to groom our personality as well enhance our knowledge about the stream.
Placement Experience
I will mark the placements of our college as good as many national and international firms come to the college for providing jobs. Not only this but many companies select the students from UG courses for the internships and training.
College Events
There are four official events of our Institute namely- 1.Tourista of tourism course organized by the students. 2.Fiesta of management science course. 3.Expressions is for everyone and it is the 3rd largest event in Central India. 4.Synergy is the sports event of IIPS.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual fee for our program is 65 thousand rupees approximately which is I think feasible and the best part is that we don't have to pay any extra fees for securing our admission to the college. Fees for other courses in the college are also feasible and students seem to have no complaints about it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college offers different scholarships to the students on behalf of the caste and income and the students belonging to lower casts and of lower-income level are eligible for the scholarships in the Institute. Scholarships of up to 40% are given as per my knowledge.
Campus Life
The campus life is great and cool. It has a good gender ratio of 60:40(male and female) The extracurricular activities include college-level cultural programs and debates and also sports events are organized at every level in and outside the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of our Institute is very strong and they are placed in big companies at national and international level and also some of them own their own business and help the students of their streams in every possible way whether it be the internships or the training program or even with providing jobs.
Admission
Tourism is a growing industry that's why I opt for this course and IIPS is a very prestigious institution with good faculty members. We had to give an entrance exam CET the (common entrance test) for admission in this college of the Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhyalay.
Faculty
We have 6 subjects in each semester and there is a combination of in-house faculty with the visiting faculty. Each faculty member here is very helpful and are masters of their field. They share their experiences and knowledge with the students that helps us to grow overall.
