College Review

The college is quite good based on all factors considered. The infrastructure is good enough. Computers and Internet facility in labs, Libraries, Workshop, Seminar Halls all are very good. There are big grounds and Transportation facilities available as well.

The syllabus is quite old rather than research based it is based on what was popular in the market a few years ago. Students are meant to reas from specified reference books and specified courses. The questions are taken from old question papers most of the time. Exams and Labs can be very Hectic sometimes.

The college does provide internships and there are placement drives where many companies come and select students. However, I haven't participated in any placement drives because I am still studying. The stipends are quite fair according to me.

Spectrom- A national level mega technical event where students from whole India can come and participate. All the events are organized by faculties and students as well. Khelom- A sports week which is a college level event. There are many Indoor and outdoor sports games held and students are given prizes for winning.

The fees are feasible. Students have to pay annual fees and plus the transportation if they opt for it. Transport facility is good however it is not feasible compared to other transport mediums like buses or trains.

The college does not provide any scholarships but a government organization provides the scholarship to the students. Students have to fulfill a certain criteria for the scholarship for example getting above 7. 5 SPi and passing in all the subjects to get the scholarship.

There are many workshops held at our college. Experts are invited to take the workshops and the students also get certificates for attending them. Labs are quite good as well with computers and Internet facility available as well.

The seniors of the college are very helpful. They are always happy to help with the projects or curriculum. They also organize various activities at the college for the students. Seniors also organize various parties to motivate the students.

I was interested in computers and especially making programs and apps. So I took this course. In the admission process, students received merit ranks and based on that students can select their college. If they are selected, then they have to visit the college and complete the rest of the process.

The faculties are quite qualified and they certainly know about their field and what they are teaching. Faculties are very supportive as well. They even organize extra seminars and workshops for the students.
