Remarks

They really need to improve. They should cope with the current market situations and problems with placements. One really great thing that college do provide is training with respect to communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Currently the curriculum may be of BATU univ. The time I completed engineering it was from shivaji university, to be frank and genuine university focuses of theoretical part more. Rather practicals are more important. But are not paid enough attention. Students initiation in practicals should be also there but it fades away after 1st year. EXAMS : Exams are not a big thing you clear the exams with no extra efforts. STRUCTURE : Theory paper of 100 marks and it involves practicals exam/viva(after first year olny) of 25 or 50 marks. If you don't clear for like atleast 4 subjects you are termed as failed. Vivas can be pretty tricky because sometimes you are judged over your behaviour than your answers. (seen examples like people not clearing vivas because they had some beef with faculty. And faculties settle it during vivas)

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements: College do provide some good chances of placement during the placement season. But according to market conditions and other circumstances the placement companies in more cases tend to be marketing and bpo types. The core companies are not that rare. But its students skills and efforts that really make difference. INTERNSHIP: no any kind of internships in my idea the college provides.

College Events

4.5

EVENTS : really great events over there. Very good coordination between the students and teachers. Very lively and diverse event initiatives. Especially the events conducted at college level ie Techvegenza that is really good. Talking about other events like cart racing and workshops are also cheerful.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparing to the neighbouring colleges, fee structure is really feasible and affordable. With good awareness of scholarships and concessions. Overall fee structure is as same as prescribed by shivaji university. With scholarships, fee weavers, and privileges to sincere students do exist.

Fees and Financial Aid

Very good assistance with respect to guiding about schemes and scholarships. For caste students rajashouri scholarships is a great thing. Tfws is also present, but you have to score pretty good to achieve it.EBC process is smooth as butter with no hurdles created by college.

Campus Life

2.5

Sports activities are really good. Thoe, there is no any permanent ground for college. NSS is also a great activity, which students enjoy a lot. They also have an dandiya night which is preety cheerful and enjoying. Overall college maintains an healthy culture with respect to diverse students coming to study. No descremination with respect to any aspect is present. Tolerant and peacefull city/college

Alumni/Alumna

Some alumni are really at good position and do frequently visit the campus for guiding the students. If you ask for any help from seniors or alumni they are ready to help. That also depends upon your relation with that person

Admission

Immediately after the results of 12th exams. The process begins. The process is simple. At that time I had to compete with the fellow students on the basis of my composite jee and 12 th score. I applied for electronic and communication engineering and secured seat in first attempt itself. There are 3 rounds although. If you have avarage marks in 12th or diploma it's not a big deal to secure admission. CURRENT SCENARIO : currently college is not doing that well with respect to admissions for branches except CSE and IT.

Faculty

3.5

They teach theory very well. The are in most cases panctual, ready to help. Teachers who are new have no any experience of prior teaching. And student find difficult to get ok with them. This mostly happens in entc and electronics dept. College is very very good for courses like civil and mechanical engineering. They have hefty amount of hands on the practicals and projects alike entc, cse and electronics. Else teachers are good and experienced.

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.
