Remarks
A decent college to study and complete your degree very good infrastructure they lack behind in terms of providing high salary placements to students.
Entrance Preview
I opted for this college because I got it on CET CAP round 2/ I scored 73%.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide internship opportunities. I had the chance to practically implement theoretical knowledge during the course of my internship. Though a few drawbacks existed in my case. The organization wouldn't call me to work on many days citing reasons such as 'we are shifting our office location' and 'we are renovating, and on some days, they would call me to office at any time of the day. The stipend was too less to even mention.
Placement Experience
In term of job opportunities, the college does provide maximum placement opportunities. But, have weird rules such as, if you go for an interview through college placement, and if you are selected for a that job but you reject it because you are unhappy with the package they offer or any other reasons, the college knocks your name off the placement cell, and the you have to search a job on your own.
College Events
In terms of extra curricular activities, the college celebrated all events and organized them well. The participation too was on a large scale. Public speaking competitions, essay writing, research paper presentations, economic seminars, inter-college stream competition (between marketing, finance, HR, and operations), etc.
Campus Life
There was a balance between female and male ratio with 3 computer labs, a library that had a vast collection of books, seminar halls, and AC- classrooms. In terms of exams, the scheduling was hay-wire. There was no discrimination in terms of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Everyone were treated equally.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel or mess food the fee structure is feasible the average rentals of PG in the area is about 8-9k.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the alumni was helpful in providing notes and past exam question papers.
Faculty
The faculty was up to the mark though some of them were a little laid-back in their approach. Theory, practicals, extra-curricular activities were done well. There were guest lecturers from the industry who were called to conduct seminars regularly. Strict attendance was maintained. The facilities and infrastructure was beneficial. Overall, it depends on how you approach and imbibe learning. Students get a chance to brush up their public speaking skills as there are weekly projects and presentations that students have to conduct.
