Remarks

Positive things are, It's a clean campus. It is also situated at the heart of the city. Good laboratories, sports and gym facilities. Negetive things are some of the lecturers thoureaten the students holding up the reason of removing them from the college for silly reasons, college is not able to handle silly situations

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Not too chilled nor too hectic. It was balancing. Most of the students feel bored in the class because most of the teachers here don't talk about new ideas and innovation. They just talk about the syllabus that they are supposed to complete. Some teachers/lecturers do.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are pretty good and opportunities to attend the interview is given only for the students with minimum aggregate of 60%. Companies like Amazon, ICCI bank, Federal bank, IBM, TCS come for the job fare offering a minimum stipend of 20k per month

College Events

3.5

The main and the biggest fest celebrated by our college comes in the month of January. Different streams have different names given to their fest. For B.Sc- Imprints, BCom - Acme, BCA - Composite, BA - Preunique

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since BSc is Aided by the government, the fee structure is less. It's around Rs.23, 000. Whereas BCom isn't aided by the government. So the fee structure is high. It's around Rs.42, 000. For B.Sc students it's feasible and for BCom students I feel it's kind of expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually college doesn't provide any scholarship. Scholarships are provided by the government. Where the students studying in this college are eligible for it. Most of the scholarships are provided for students who belong to minority religion and also students who belong to scheduled caste or tribe

Campus Life

3.5

All the facilities are very good as of now. Labs, Sports etc. Gender ratio seems to be equal, college hasn't been biased based on Race, Economic status and so on. Morever kind of importance is given to the students who belong to Chouristianity. Good Classrooms, Labs, Sports facilities etc. Also students come to study here from different parts of the country. Including North and North East of the country.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni did not help us by any means. But the college seniors have helped us during the preparations of the college fest. One good thing is that there's no any kind of ragging in the college campus and all the seniors are very sweet and helpful

Admission

I choose B.Sc because I did not have any interest in Engineering or other fields. I am here to complete my Graduation. I am actually interested more into aviation field. Since I feel graduation is necessary (not mandatory), so I am here to complete my Graduation here in this prestigious college.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty isn't that good. They are more into making money by imposing fines for each and everything from the students. And also some of the senior lecturers just misuse the power they have. Like once they thoureatened 5 students to remove from the college just for sleeping in the auditorium during one of the seminar where the talk was very boring

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holds a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
