College Review

All good no bad, st Francis has given me many memories, friends and mentors who are just a call away.

The course curriculum is relavent to my parallel course, CA, here is where I also get subject exemptions. Apart from this we also have few mandatory subjects where we also get out of the box knowledge which is again helpful. We also have planned industrial visits etcs for other kind of experiences.

There is a placement cell where the students apply in their final year. Companies like Microsoft, IBM, Google, Facebook, Deloitte, KPMG, GT, etc., Come for recruitment and recruit their upcoming employees. There are sessions conducted by the lecturers where they give training for the do's and don'ts at the placement

There are various events celebrated, we have various fests happening including inter college fest where students from different colleges participate. We have cultural days celebrated. Different festivals we celebrate together. Lectures also participate and keep encouraging us in various activities.

The fee for the programme is Rs.65000 per annum i.e., approx Rs.200000 till the completion of course. Apart from this they also collect examination fees, event fees, excursions, picnic fees. All the payments are collected via online mode of payment through the college application.

I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan. Neither the college gives any scholarships as such.

This is a girl's College so the gender ratio is 1:0 for girls is to boys. Apart from this we have laboratories, indoor stadium, computer lab, an auditorium, an many other facilities, it is really very helpful to have all of these whenever we require.

I stay with my family at Hyderabad, hence there was no requirement for opting hostel. We do not have any college hostel as well, the students stay at nearby appartments where they provide hostel facilities.

Interaction with seniors is always helpful. As sich I do not have any particular experience but yes they are always available as I am to my Juniors.

I am pursuing CA and wanted to complete my graduation along with it. This college has a course for CA, CS, CMA students called BCom IPP(Integrated Professional Programme) wherin we get subject as well as attendance exemption where we can easily attend our offices for articleship. I found that this course was made for me and with giving second thought I applied for addmission and got into the college.

There are about 50-60 lecturers in college of which about 15 have taught us. Their age is from 25-40 years. They have experience in teaching for more than 5 years. The qualifications are BCom, MCom, MBA, CA, CS, CMA, PhD in various subjects. They are lecturers who also have industry experience.
