Sujay Nigudkar's Review On Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College-[LTMMC], Mumbai

I feel it is the best medical college of mumbai and you will grow more as a person at this place more than any other college.

Physics Cemistry Biology MHT-CET exam of 2011 scored 183 marks with 157 rank. I wanted KEM as first choice but couldn't get it and frankly I am happy i didn't because I now love Sion more than anything.

The course is very well thought and it is one of the best colleges of maharashtra. I have written various blogs about the study way for this course and you can find them on google if you search my name - sujay nigudkar.

My internship will be beginning in few days so I can't give detailed review but they say that internship at Sion is the toughest and the one where least no of people get further admission into PG courses stipend is around Rs 7,000.

Most of the students pursue CET after MBBS for further education and very few start working directly after if. Without a PG degree opportunities for just an MBBS doctor are very limited.

SPICE and SLICE is cultural and sports fest to invite freshers. Trinity is a all India students medical conference ashwamedh is cultural festival for 4 days.

MBBS in a government college is very feasible for open students the fees are around Rs 50,000 per semester while for reserved ones they are lesser than even Rs 10,000 at times.

Tata scholarship and narottam seksaria scholarship are available to economically challenged and meritorious students. Also some organisations give books to non affording students.

1st year is hectic after that you have time for others stuff. But again none in final year. SPICE and SLICE and ashwamedh gives ample opportunities to showcase your talents. Also there are football and cricket leagues.

For first years no hostel facilities available from second year you'll get them girls and boys hostel is a common one with only floor segregation and no real security.

This college has best senior to junior relationship most friendly people in any medical college. Ragging doesn't occur and the student can feel very safe at college.

1st, 3rd and final year are 1 year each2nd year is of 1.5 year duration at the end of each year you have an university exam of MUHS.

The professors are really good some of them aren't really inspiring but most of them manage to instill love for the subject in your heart. 1st and Final year teachers are just too good.
