Remarks

If someone asks me if he/she take admission in this college, I will never suggest this college to him/her. I don't know if every private colleges are like this or what. But I will never suggest ICL GROUP OF COLLEGES to anybody to do any of the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Teaching system was very bad. No proper practical knowledge was given to us. Apart from this the college is affiliated to KUK, so the exam pattern was good and every university exam was conducted properly.

Placement Experience

0.5

There was no placement and job provided by the college. Also no internship program was provided by the college. The college was very bad. They told us that they will teach us AutoCad and other CAD software but in the last we came with nothing.

College Events

1.5

The college was good in celebrating thing like any festival or event like Ganesh chaturthi, janmashtami, independence day, republic day etc. Also fresher's party and fairwell party took place in our college along with star night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible as compared to other colleges but also the quality of the college was worst. So for comparison with other colleges the fee structure was feasible but if I have to check the structure with the quality of teaching and other facilities, the fee structure was expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I just got admission only because of this scholarship trap. That you will study free. The college will provide you scholarship. So actually that scholarship was provided by HP Govt. for low income family background students. So I was one of them. But if our scholarship got late, the college didn't allow us to sit in university exams and harassed us.

Campus Life

2

There was only cricket as extracurricular activities. If the person didn't know how to play good cricket then there is nothing for him in this college as extracurricular activity. Apart from this athletic meet happened for only one time during my 3 years in the college.

Hostel Facilities

2

So I lived for only one year in the hostel. Hostel room was good enough provide with beds, mattresses, almirah fans cooler. But we were 5 students adjusted in a room. Actually that room was for 3 student sharing but college wants to earn extra so they adjusted 5 students in singke room. There was no geyser facility for winter season. Laundry service was provided. That was the only good thing. No power backup. Mess food was average good. Sat and Sunday breakfast was awesome. We paid 6000 per month as hostel charges.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no much interaction with my seniors so my seniors didn't affected my experience. I talked with some of my seniors they were good but they didn't teach me anything that will help me for my future.

Admission

Just a marketing trap for scholarship. I just got trapped in the scheme and took admission in this college. I just submitted my documents and all the admission process is done by my co-ordinator. Second thing about my course. So I have done my Diploma in mechanical engineering so I chose the same for my graduation.

Faculty

1.5

When I took the admission, the faculty was knowledgeable. But due to college irresponsibility, the faculty left the college because they were not paid properly. After one year of admission the new faculty comes and they were not good enough to teach us. Even we have more knowledge than them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 7/10. It prepared the students with the theoritical aspects but lacked to prepare them for the practical knowledge. It can be improved by focussing more on practical examination. Each semester there were 3 exams, out of which two were sessionals and one was main exam. The exam difficulty level was moderate but the marking was strict.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are decent but not extremely high like top engineering institutes. College has a placement cell that workds to connect student swith companies and prepeare them for the recruitment process. They orgarnize activities such as resume-building workshopsm aptituted training, mock interviews, soft-skills sessions to help students become more confidebt before palcements. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of B.tech program. During this time, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives and placement interviews. before that student are encouraged to complete internships and improve their technical skills so they better prepared when placement season starts. some of the companies that have visited the campus in recent years include companies from the IT and service sector such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and a few smaller software and startup companies. These companies mainly hire students for roles like software developer, system engineer, technical support engineer, and trainee engineer. the highest package offered in recent year has been around 6-8 LPA, usually offered by a good tech company or startup. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. while the package are not extremely high, they still provide a good starting point for fresh graduates entering the IT industry. In terms of placement percentage around 30-40% of students who actively participate in placements manag to get placed through campus drives. some students also prefer to apply for jobs off-campus which can sometimes lead to better oppportunities depending on their skills and projects.

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .
