About my College

Placement should be good. There must be more scope of placement for core branches,the laboratories must be enhanced and install more instruments of all branches.

It is 4 years of course. It contains 8 semesters. Each year 2 semesters. In each semester there are two internals and practical tests, and also quiz test,surprize tests and viva voce. In the semester written test is of 100 marks and 50 marks for internals and quiz, surprize tests.

Speaking about placement in our year 2019 the placement was not so good. Software companies came for placement and management companies and 1 or 2 core company for electrical and civil. COLLEGE was ready to allow us to do internships in the vaccination and also allow us to attend tech fests of IITS and NITs.

The best thing in this College was the fest was very good and well organized every year. Fest was of 4 days which includes technical fest and cultural fest. Technical fest was organized for all different branches and there was also different for robotics and other clubs. College was also conducting annual sport meets which includes all indoor, outdoor and athletics.

As it is the government College of Odisha the fee was very economical. In first year the fee was 38,500 and in second year 33,500,in third year 29,500,in fourth year 29,500. And also college providing different scholarships such as medhabruti,prerana.

I haven't any scholarship. But College was providing scholarships such as medhabruti, prerana. If someone opt for study loan he/she can avail that. In this College there is a syndicate bank they can try there.

Can't tell the exact gender ratio but there is no such discrimination between boys and girls all are equal. Lab facility is good but there is no lab for automobile engg., College is trying to install it. Every year there must competition of quiz, essay writing, extempo, debates different seminars,annual sports.

No I haven't opted for hostel. But the fees for hostel is not so high it's around 25000 per year. All rooms are 3 beded and foor is good. It includes mesh, tv room,indoor room,badminton court. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. 2 hostels for boys and one for girls.

Some of the alumni are helpful one of them is working in TCS he trying to bring placement of TCS to our campus.

I got admission in 2015 by the entrance examination JEE MAIN.It was based on the all India rank. After releasing the rank card we have applied for counseling in Odisha jee website. As the College is under Odisha state govt. After that according to the rank we choose the different College and the as per our rank a college is selected.

In our electrical Engineering department there were total 13 faculties which included Head of the department, 3 professors and others are assistant professor other than 13 there were 2 guest faculties and 2 lab assistants. Professors were senior faculties age is around 50.
