Remarks
The college in general lives up to its expectations with excellent faculty and great infrastructure. However, the administration department is not up to the mark and shows very little communication with its students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite suitable and the exam structure is well made. The course is research-driven as well as industrially applicable. No industrial visits were organized for the students. The college teaches subjects from the pharmaceutical and well as management field which is beneficially for placements.
Placement Experience
Various companies approach our college for placements and internships like Abbot, Merck, Novartis, Cipla, etc.
College Events
Our college has four departments namely Kshamta, Isthmus-Urrja, Excalibur and TEC. These departments organize events all year round which provides quite a relief from the work-load provided by the course. Our college also participates in inter-college festivals like Vortex, Rx, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. Even though 3,50,000 is quite a large sum of money, it is compensated by the dual B. Pharm + MBA degree and the amenities provided by the college. Fees were accepted via demand draft in the first year and NEFT in the second year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan. Chancellor's challenge aims to promote an entrepreneurial community on campus by eliciting the innovative and entrepreneurial minds in the students through which they can pursue their dreams.
Campus Life
Although the campus is small, campus life is quite fulfilling. The gender ratio consists of almost an equal amount. There are various extracurricular activities available with major classroom events and inter-college competitions. The labs contain well maintained and up to date equipment. There is an entire committee dedicated to sports with an annual sports day organized. There are also cultural events organized by Isthmus-Urrja which hosts the national level debate competition and the national level poster presentation competition.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni and senior students are extremely helpful and are always present to assist us in every way possible.
Admission
I secured admission to this college by clearing the NPAT entrance exam with a state rank of 91 (marks were not allowed). The admission process was quite smooth and took place one month prior to college commencement. I opted for this college because the locality was optimal and the course and faculty seemed professional. Most of the admission procedure was online and students had to physically submit their documents and fees in the form of a demand draft on the campus itself.
Faculty
The faculty is well esteemed and professional with most of the teachers being PhD holders and with experience in the industry. There are 45 lectures conducted for each subject with 15 tutorials. The average age of the faculty is around 40. The subjects are taught via PowerPoint presentation and textual matter and is well explained.
