Remarks

The MBA from SV Institute was one of the best decisions of my life. I gained an extensive amount of knowledge from our faculty both personally and professionally. The MBA program was one of the finest courses offered by our institute which triggered the blending of different cultures. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum was the backbone of our course. Our MBA syllabus was pretty thorough and informative. It was a treat for inquisitive students to understand the corporate working model with the right context and live examples. We got to learn about managerial concepts, quantitative techniques, and decision making among others. Our final CGPA was calculated on the basis of internal assessments, external exams, summer Internship reports, and dissertations.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college has an impeccable placement record. From my batch, 70% of the students were placed. Some also went for their own ventures or to join their family business. But still, there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of placement packages. During my batch, Torrent Power was the leading recruiter.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My total course fee was around INR 194k, which was to be paid on a semester basis. This fee included registration fee, examination fee, caution fee, tuition fee, etc. The fee structure was expensive for me but the facilities they provided us were exceptional.

Campus Life

4

Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience. Antarnad was THE event that featured some quality cultural performances and social awareness programs were organized.

Hostel Facilities

4

Our institute offers accommodation facilities at pretty nominal charges. Rooms were available on a double sharing basis and they had regular connectivity of water, wi-fi, and electricity. Our stay was pretty comfortable at the hostel. I made a lot of friends and created some of the best memories of my life.

Admission

The entire admission process is pretty robust. I applied to the college via online mode. My CMAT scores were pretty good and I uploaded the documents with my application. The next step in the selection process was the interview round which was pretty intense. They grilled me on the topics from my graduation and my managerial skills. Overall it went well and after that, I was granted admission.

Faculty

5

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. Especially the big data faculty panel was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:14, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.

The placements in my college are quite strong. Many reputed companies visit every year, offering roles across finance, marketing, HR, analytics, and operations. The placement cell actively organizes training sessions, mock interviews, aptitude practice, and industry interactions, which helps students build confidence and develop employability skills

The course is like they say we are not teachers here we are, mentors, to guide you and jot to teach you as you have grown up now so should learn things by your own self so the course is as such and the faculty is like everywhere you will have the same situation it's OK.

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.
