My Journey with Guruvayurappan College

MBA program is a 2-year course duration with 4 semesters and the exams were held at the end of every semester. In the first semester, we studied general management and from the 2nd year, we studied our specialized areas along with some common subjects. The curriculum was specifically designed in order to provide a holistic view of changing landscape of the corporate sector.

There is a placement cell in our college who guides and train the graduating students, they work hard to place a number of students. Companies like Accenture, HCL, Tata, Airtel, Infosys, Samsung, LG, etc visited our college. The average salary package offered is around 2.7 Lakhs per year.

Our college celebrate all important ocassions like Teacher's day, and also there is youth fest that is organized once in a year, and also cultural events were held and a lot of students participated and it was very fun, I enjoyed it a lot.

I think the fee structure of our college is feasible. I paid around 1.3 lacs annually, which in turn means around 65k for every semester which was in my budget. The grand total cost of the fee is ?2.6 Lakhs, this includes tuition fees, registration fee, examination fee and other fees for a year.

There is Scholarships and financial aid program in our college, so our college provides scholarships to meritorious students. Students can avail scholarships of up to Rs.100000 if they are a topper in their past academic field.

My admission was based on the merit list, It was based on my score of my BBA score and entrance scores and couple of other factors. I have scored 7.4 CGPA in my BBA, I fill out the form online and submitted all the details. Then they invited me for the further rounds of counseling.

The professors of our college are very supportive of us, they gave us notes and are always ready to help us. Whenever we have any doubts or queries, we can ask or talk to them freely. I think they are all qualified for their and pretty good at it too.
