Remarks

I enjoyed my stay at the SYCET. Institute is very much accommodating and flexible. Our entire Infrastructure was awesome and both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available within the campus. I have many fond memories of the campus, itself and the institute was very crucial in shaping my and many more careers.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our course curriculum was pretty diversified and covered almost all of the different aspects of the corporate sector. From retail to legal, marketing to finance, HR to operations, we studied all of them in brief. Then in the third semester, I opted for operations and marketing management specializations.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are pretty decent in our college. Placement packages are not that great, but overall students get enough opportunities on the ground. Many decent companies visit our campus to recruit students. I secured a package of 2.6 LPA in an IT firm. There is a lot of scope after graduating from this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid a fair sum of 40k every semester. In total, I paid 1.6 lacs approximately for the entire course. Our college offers MBA below par with other B-schools in the region. Overall the fee structure was pretty feasible for me on a personal level.

Campus Life

4.5

Facilities for both indoor and outdoor games are provided in our college. I played chess and even participated in the inter-college competition and secured a silver medal. Labs were genuinely updated with all the latest technologies. Social life was pretty good and the campus was entirely ragging free.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is available for both male and female students. Hostel rooms are available on a triple sharing basis. Students seeking accommodation at the college should apply at the college at the earliest, preferably at the time of admission. Facilities provided are pretty damn good, especially the mess food and the lush green campus environment.

Admission

Admissions to the MBA program are granted on the basis of MAH-MBA entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Then I applied to the college with my academic profile. I uploaded documents online and waited for the common admission process. The common admission process is a common counseling process for the colleges affiliated to DTE. After document verification, I was granted admission to the program. The entire process was pretty hectic, thankfully my house was close enough to the counseling center.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
