Remarks
Overall, my journey with the ACACS was pretty great. I learned a lot, made a lot of friends, made connections, etc. Infrastructure was just okay, furniture is old school, though. But the students and people around here were very accommodating. Campus life was awesome, social life was great, cultural, and gender diversity marks another distinguishing feature of our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course structure was decent and covered different aspects of a management program briefing us about different subjects. Initially focusing on different subjects in brief and after the internship, we opted for specializations. Our program was a dual specialization program which means we could opt for two different specializations. I opted for marketing and finance. Exams were held twice a year.
Placement Experience
Our college has a good placement record, overall. Most of the companies which visited our campus were from IT background and they hired mostly for the business development profiles and sales executive. Packages offered were also pretty good and were as follows: Highest Package offered: 15 LPA, Median Package offered: 6.5 LPA, Lowest Package offered: 4 LPA
Fee Structure And Facilities
My total course fee was around 7.85 Lacs which was not feasible for a two-year program because generally, the institutes that charge a heavy fee for also deliver on placements. The placements are also good but not on par with the hefty fee. The overall infrastructure was very good, though.
Campus Life
Facilities for sports like football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, etc. are played and encouraged in our institute in order to ensure the overall development of the students. Cultural fests are also pretty good and the cultural dance performances during these events were heartwarming. Infrastructure was not that good. Some of the buildings were old.
Admission
In order to get admission to the PGDM program at our college, students have to attempt the entrance test and the admissions are granted on the basis of its score. Institute evaluates students on the basis of merit in the entrance exam and invite students for a Group discussion round and Personal Interview. My admission process was pretty smooth and the administration was very friendly during the interview round.
Faculty
All of our faculty members were very experienced and had a significant amount of experience in the corporate sector. They were teaching the subject which was directly related to their previous profile and hence they would relate the topics with real-life examples. In this way they were able to provide us a first hand inside view of the corporate and jobs we will be taking.
