Good placement training and domain-based technical sessions and workshops.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and we got good guidance from our professors. Additionally, we had to Make a product, Hands-on training and many courses to enhance our skill based on our domain interests. Every semester we were given an opportunity to visit various industries and Grid. That also helped us to learn new things.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Aspire Systems, CTS, TCS, HCL, Hexaware, Amazon and so on. Placement started with pre-placement talk, Aptitude test, Group discussion, Technical round and HR round. 95% of the placement opted students got placement.

College Events

Department Symposiums, Annual day, sports days, technical events like IET, IEI, IEEE. Every one participated. All department students together participated in various events like dance, singing, mime shows, sports event like chess, Volleyball, Athletics and bagged many prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

35000 per semester and college bus fees 10000 per year. Exam fees are additional charges for every semester. In addition to that, students who opted for foreign language training will have to pay foreign language training fees based on the levels. Those interested External contest participating students will have project expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship. For those who have availed got their scholarships approved. As I got seat through MQ I dint have eligibility criteria to get any scholarships.No idea about the average sum of scholarships provided.

Campus Life

Gender ratios were equal. We had many workshops and many Labs to support. Based on our domain interests like Embedded systems, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Robotics. We were split into groups and we were provided with Experts from specific domains to have hands-on training and technical sessions.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helping us a lot. Even after coming out of college, we could get good guidance from them easily.

Admission

I was interested in ECE and EEE, then I took EEE as many of my friends suggested it. In the year 2014, I was searching for colleges to pursue Engineering. I got to know about KIOT through my hometown friends and family members. So I chose Knowledge institute of technology.

Every student was assigned a Mentor(Professors of our Department) to discuss and share our progress. The mentors will help us in shaping our ideas and in developing projects and contest participation to showcase our skills. As all the professors were easy to move with. I could get help from everyone.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
