Course Curriculum Overview

We followed the course curriculum of the GGSIPU. MBA is a 2-year course duration of 4 semesters. I opted for Human Resource Management as my specialized area. The exams were conducted at the end of every semester.

Placement Experience

The placement cell in our college works efficiently to place a number of students as much as possible. Companies like Dell, Genpact, Convergys, 99 acres.com, etc and so many other companies visited our college. The highest salary package offered was around Rs.10 LPA.

College Events

One of the biggest events celebrated in our college was the "Saras" fest, it is a cultural fest celebrated annually. We also had sports events named "technia sports meet" and so many programs like fresher meet, academic fest like "endeavor", techno vision, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The grand total fee cost ?237,400 only. This includes tuition fees and other fees for each semester. I think the fees for our college was not expensive at all compared to other colleges, it was feasible.

Campus Life

Our college organized various activities like annual cultural fest, educational visit, Technia sports meet, seminars, workshops, different types of competitions, and different types of clubs to join which organized various programs that were available in our college.

Admission

My admission was based on the entrance exam of GGSIPU-CET and then, I fill out the form online and after a few days, my application was shortlisted. And, then I was called to attend the counseling conducted by Guro Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Faculty

The faculties of our college were the reason why I chose this college to pursue an MBA course. They are the main advantage of this college. They were highly qualified and experienced and they were very good at teaching, trust me they are good!

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

Remarks:

As the college has so many facilities and a very brilliant faculty this is one of the best college for students. Where you can learn, can have some fun by participating in extra curricular activities, the atmosphere of the college is so great. Teachers are helpful, students are disciplined and focused.

I choose this college mainly because it is close to my home, which makes travelling much easier.Accordingly to my rank, this was the college I was alloted during the admission process.
