Remarks

My overall experience in this college is good. I am so grateful that I chose this college. The faculties were amazing and my classmates too. The infrastructure of our college is nice and the campus was also great, we have wifi, digital library, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted MBA in Health Care Management and we study stuff like financial accounting, planning & designing of healthcare facilities, etc. From the 2nd year of the course, We take the class only at the weekend and during the weekdays, we work in a hospital, it's like some kind of internships and we get paid for it as well.

Placement Experience

There's no need to worry for placement in our college, the placement is good. The fresh graduate is placed in the 1st semester. Because of our course, it's mandatory to work on weekdays. The placement cell of our college has tied up with 1000+ mnc's companies.

Campus Life

Our college organized several extracurricular activities and there are different types of clubs to join in our college. We had a freshers party, farewell party, sports events, industrial visits, seminars, workshops, etc. and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides a hostel for the students. The campus of the hostel is amazing, it is located at the Bangalore Palace. So, the environment and the campus life of the hostel is amazing. It also well facilitated.

Admission

The admission process was quite straightforward and smooth. I fill out the application form online and then took the entrance test of GAT conducted by the college. I cleared the test with a valid score of 65%.

Faculty

The professors in our college are the best and highly qualified, there's no debate in that. They have an experience of like 20 years, so they know what they are doing and pretty good at their job. They are very interactive and supportive of us too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is very much relevant to today's corporate world. the curriculum is set by our faculties itself and is very much related to the current requirements of the corporate we have both theoretical and practical teaching happening alternatively which helps us to understamd the comcepts easily the frequency of the examination is at the correct level like we have only one midterm exam and then we have 1 month gap for our trimester exams.

My MBA journey through CMR Institute of Technology

Placement Experience:

In 3rd semester is when you will be eligible for placements or internships. Therr are different companies that take initiative to come for hiring and for MBA the highest pacage was 9LPA which keeps increasing every year and the college also put alot of effort to make sure all the students gets placements. And the average package is 6 to 7 LPA and there are alomst 75% of students who get placements on how well you perform and they will also give you various training tha are given to every student which helps then in interviews and to get placed and ther is TYL program which is Tie you laces that comes with aptitude and verbal training which is important for and placements or job. And my plan is to get a good job in the most reputable company

Brief and honest Explanation about GIBS

Placement Experience:

I am not sure about the other colleges, but this college provides their help in internship also, they offer so many internship offers also, companies like Flipkart ,Aditya Birla,Kpmg,Itc,Zomato,Tatasteel,Britannia,Bajal Allianz and for placements Ivy homes,cafe coffee day, L&T,Urban Company,Wipro Mahindra finance etc

Gems B school is the only college in the country which has a different concept (work-study-work) to study management.
