Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus was carefully curated in order to provide a holistic view of the general management for the first half of the course. In between the 3rd and 4th semesters, students are supposed to go for a mandatory summer internship, which was an effective way in order to provide students a hands-on experience of the corporate culture. Post that we opted for specializations. Exams were conducted four times, i.e. at the end of each semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are awesome in our college. Our corporate cell maintains close ties with leading companies and invites them for the on-campus placement drive. These companies recruit students from our campus for a number of profiles like a consultation, risk analysis manager, Regional manager, funds manager and many more. Average packages offered vary between 3-4 LPA, while the highest salary offered during my batch was 8 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid 27k INR on a yearly basis as my PGDM fee and my total course fee was 54k. The fee structure was very much feasible for me, personally. Overall, I was more or less satisfied with the level of services and amenities provided by the college. Our college is offering an opportunity for students from an economically weaker background.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were very prominent in our college. Guest lectures were a crucial part of our curriculum, where various esteemed industry professionals and research faculty would share their valuable insights with us. All the labs were digitized and had all the latest equipment. All the sports gear were also provided there, in order to ease the academic pressure.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities also provided by the college itself. We had one of the best accommodation facilities. From neatly furnished and spacious rooms to hygienic washrooms and tasty food, our hostel stay was very much comforting. We even connected well with all of our seniors in the hostel. The only downside of the hostel life was that the college gates were closed at 7 PM.
Admission
I applied at the college with my AP ICET score. Admissions are granted on the basis of the merit list, includes entrance exam scores, academic performance, personal interview, etc. The PI round was pretty rigorous and they grilled the applicants very aggressively in order to select the best of the bunch.
Faculty
Faculty members ware pretty supportively and qualified. They all had relevant degrees to back their extensive industry experience. Their style of teaching was also unique and included a number of assignments, presentations, projects, and the case study analysis. The case studies really helped us in order to think strategically.
