Remarks

College is nice, you can study here because the environment is good. Faculty is good, they help students in many ways possible. Courses offer variety, there are lot of courses. Placement and job opportunities are weak

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is nice. There are a variety of courses to choose from. In my B.A. course the exam structure was such that there were practicals annually with 2 papers each for 1 subject. So, for four subjects there were 8 papers annually.

Placement Experience

2

This is one setback of our college as the job opportunities are not in a large no. Hence, we can say there are not many opportunities a student can get. Also there is no internship scheme, which would have helped the students a little bit. So, negative in this aspect.

College Events

3.5

There are many cultural festivals which are regularly organized in the campus. Many distinguished guests arrive in this functions. Also there is college fest which is organized annually by the students on the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very cheap. Probably one of the cheapest colleges to study in the area. But that does not mean compromise on education. Annual fees vary from 2000-10000 depending on the different courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

If the student is unable to pay full fees due to his very humble background, then I have seen students getting concession in fees. All they have to do is write an application to the principal about the same.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are good. Sports facility is available. There is no bias on the basis of gender, sex or orientation. There is diversity in terms of religion in college. Many sports are there to choose from primarily Cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Yes I do live in hostel, 2 students share one room or you can request for separate room. In hostel their is friendly environment along with many fun activities students can do like play indoor games. Overall hostel stay is good

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful. They help you in various things. There is no ragging on the campus. The campus is anti-ragging. If any student face any bas behavior, seniors are there to help settle down the issue.

Admission

Admission process is very easy, you don't need much qualification, you just need to be 12th pass. Don't need specific percentage in class 12th. I chose B.A. because it is an easy course to pass. And the teachers in this course are nice.

Faculty

4

Faculty is good. Student will get a true learning experience, college faculty will try their best to improve the knowledge of the students also the teachers are very educated and qualified. Students can get their doubts cleared easily.

AMU does provide placements, and their highest package is 50 lakhs, while their average package is approximately 5 lakhs. But the placement cell needs to be developed properly to give better placements for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. The courses are very diverse and gives not only theoritical but also explains the practical viewpoint and applications of the knowledge provided. 2. The cirriculum is designed as per the guidliances provided by the UGC and is very well applied in the courses. 3. The only things that is needed to be improved is the commencement of regular classes , the classes here are cancelled very oftenly. 4. The exams here are of two types (a) MID SEM EXAMS : These exams are conducted in mid sems after 3 months of the classes and are also called sessionals. (b) END SEM EXAMS : These exams are conducted in the end of the semester after 6 months of classes. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate or it depends on the preperation of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue my dream to be an IAS officer and that is the reason why I chose this program. My program includes the subjects English, Education and Ancient History which will help me in my preparation further. The curriculum is very well designed to help the students know and understand the concept deeply. There are 6 semesters and the exams take place in either of the two shifts which are ok for the students. The difficulty level is not too much. The questions are not so tricky if one has properly prepared.
