Remarks

Overall the college is fine. But there are some problems due to which the adjusting are going down unexpectedly. This could be prevented by improving some facilities and reducing the fee structure which is expected on everything a government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am enrolled in bachelors of Technology in computer science engineering. The college schedule is from 9:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. And sometimes this schedule becomes very hectic, because we have to perform the tasks given in the lab and if tasks aren't completed, we aren't allowed to leave. Evans come and go like air. Coming in each month, we have midsems 2 times, i. e. 2 times in a semester and then 1 month for semester exams and another one for practicals. This sometimes creates a mess for us. But however enjoying.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are finer than the previous year. Many students are currently places in atleast one company. Infact, many students are there, who are placed in more than 2 companies with a pretty good and decent package. And the companies are also well reputed and famous in their domains.

College Events

4

There is a techno cultural fest, Epistemico which means woman empowerment. In this fest star night is there, which is mostly a performance of a band of a well known singer. There are various technical plus cultural events, which include folks and classical, traditional and western dance forms and singing, dramas etc. Also sports fest of 1 week is held where inter branch competition is held and a branch trophy is awarded to the winning team.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive, if we consider that the college is a government college, rather than private. So the fees of private and government college almost same. Due to which it can be said that there is no sense of the college being a government.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available to the students as TFWS seats, in which the fees is almost one third as compared to other students. Also the scholarships are provided to the students of SC, ST cares sometimes OBC. But there are no such schemes for the students of general category.

Campus Life

4

There are many curricular activities like workshops that are held on a regular basis, where the students have to pay very minimal charges. College affords to send students for the sports tournaments one time every semester.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilitates the students in many terms. However some facilities like food and hygiene is not so good as Fee structure is quite expensive, if we consider that the college is a government college, rather than private. So the fees of private and government college almost same. Due to which it can be said that there is no sense of the college being a government. compared to other institutions where my friends are studying. Infrastructure is good. Rooms are 2 seaters and the space is also enough for both the people.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful. They can assist for the projects, how to study to score good. Also they solve the problems and doubts from the subjects. They also help in assisting for the jobs. They don't say no in any case.

Admission

I got admission through REAP. This is an admission process, Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process abbreviated as REAP. A form for getting admission in the colleges of Rajasthan, that are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University was filled, asking the priority list of colleges of rajasthan. Based on the Percentage of XII and JEE MAINS score, the counseling started and I got the first choice, which I had filled in the form.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are well educated and they very well know how to teach. They are mostly the post graduates from reputed institutions and universities. The NPIU faculties are recruited by Ministry of Human Resource Development i. e. MHRD and they only recruit the people who are highly qualified. Classes are held on a regular basis and students attend classes the same way they are scheduled.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
