Course Curriculum Overview

Very good theoretical and practical classes helped us in training and placements. Teachers guide us in every way. They provide us notes and necessary theories, everything explained with a demonstration. Guest lecturers also visit the campus, and this benefits us.

Placement is good. Campus interview are arranged. Most of the students are absorbed during training.

The food festival, annual program, carnivals, and all other popular festivals.Durga puja, Saraswati puja, Independence Day, republic day. We visit orphanages and old age home and food and other essential commodities, every kind of good thoughts and celebrations are encouraged.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Installments are available, so it's become easier for guardians as well as students. Transparency is provided in the fee breakdown. Easy breakup. Very much affordable fees structure, helped us to complete our course easily. Loan facility is also available.

No scholarship or educational loan has been taken. I am not aware of the process. But college has both the facilities.

Campus life is very good. Our grooming standard is rectified and made us ready as per industry standard. Excellent faculties. They helped us in studies as well as all other activities. It made us skilled. Happy to join this college. Friends are good and helpful.

I had a liking for cooking and always wanted to be a chef. I found the best place in the Indian Institute of Hotel Management to cherish my dreams. My dream came true. It's excellent for any aspiring students, guidance is excellent. I'm extremely happy and my parents are satisfied.

From after 5th semester we students get eligible for campus placement offers to higher ranks posts for the students. The riot hotel,taj hotel other organisations for the students The highest package is 10 lpa and average lpa is 4. Percentage of students getting placement is 96.87. my plans after getting degree is to become cooks to serve people to where I am cooking foods and beverages

IHM Kolkata an experience

Placement Experience:

The campus selection starts from 05th sem onwards. Lots of companies visit some are:- Taj, Oberios, Leela, HHI, ITC, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, CCD, Starbucks, Fairmont etc. I dont remeber the highest package amount but it was around 30k. 95% students got placement and for those who had difficulty getting placed the faculties would help them find internship or job through their reference. I completed my degree back in 2013 and got placement through the college and started working.

Placement Experience:

1. Some students get offer letters during second year if they show excellence in guest service . 2. 5th to 6th semester 3. Big hote groups like IHCL , THE OBEROIS ,ITC , HYATT REGENCY,JW MARRIOT ,NOVOTEL,THE PARK all big players of the field come for placement talk and placement here Big retailers like RARE RABBIT,MAC DONALDS , KFC,DOMINOS and other big retails companies recruit for management trainee and operational trainee Almost 80 percent students get placed . Highest average package has went upto 6 lpa during training period by some retail companies . I plan on to join hotel as a chef and then opt for masters abroad if possible
