Remarks
SGT will prepare you surely prepare you for the life ahead outside the college and your comfort zone. College life in SGT depends on you, how you manage it but it surely gives us friends and teachers (including seniors) for a lifetime.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good, they teach you everything you need to know in theoretical knowledge, there are classes from the same faculty who teaches MBBS students. And in practical knowledge they were helpful but it's you who have to learn on your own.
Placement Experience
Yes, they have so many connections, they send all the students from different courses in internships in their areas. Experience during that period depends on where they send you and how you handle the situations. During my internship period, there was no stipend.
College Events
Sgt celebrates every festival, but the grand ones are Diwali and Holi fest. The students participate in the fest from different courses from the entire university, they dance, sing, act, and whatnot. College also organizes a science event called Synergy every year for 3 days. In which students make innovative projects for display.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are quite expensive. My entire course fee was 3 lakhs INR. Which one has to pay 1 lakh every year before starting of the academic year. They have high charges for late fees. Now they have semesters so you have to pay accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my course, they have scholarships of 10% for students having marks of more than 70%. Which varies from course to course. There is no loan facility offered by the college that I know of, but you can get a loan from banks and the college will provide you documents required.
Campus Life
They have so many extracurricular activities like three days sports meet every year, and a music fest called symphonious once a year. Students have hobby classes twice a week, of their choices like music, dance, art, photography, literature, and languages.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni and seniors are all so good. They are always ready to help and guide. Even after passing out from college, they all are ready to help (not all but some for sure from every batch) during the internship period they were our saviors, helped us a lot, and save us from getting scrolled.
Admission
Admission was easy, you have to pay the required amount for reserving your seat, then you have to submit your documents like 10th-12th mark sheets, migration certificate, and some passport size photos. Then viola you got your admission.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified and very helpful. You can always ask your doubts and they will help you with everything, although for my course the lab technician was not that good though, his basics were not right but I heard they changed him now so it's good.
