Remarks

There are no such things as good remarks or bad remarks for me. It totally depends upon the individual experience of how he or she considers certain things as good or bad. Something which is good for one person may not be good for another person or vice-versa.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is totally based on experiential learning. It is a combination of both traditional methods of learning as well as the modern method of learning. Traditional learning in our college includes exams, weekly tests, surprise tests, online and offline quizzes. The modern method of teaching involves teaching through PPTs, videos, live examples, assignments, projects, etc. The exam comprises of mid-term-exams and end-term exams. We follow 10-20-30-40 rule. 10% to internal quiz and other internal markings, 20% to presentations - assignments - projects, 30% to midterm exam and 40% to end term exams.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of the college is really good, the corporate relations team which is also known as placement cell of the college works really hard to bring companies to the doorstep of the college. It totally depends upon the individual student how he/she cracks different steps for getting selected into companies including an aptitude test, psychometric test, group discussion and panel personal interview. Various internship opportunities are also being provided by the placement cell to each and every student of the college. I have got my internship from the college itself in LG Electronics Pvt. Inc. which is an FMCD company.

College Events

5

There are various events that are celebrated in our college including fresher party, farewell party, college's own annual event. We celebrate each and every festival in our college including Holi, Diwali, Saraswati Pooja, Basant Panchmi, Christmas, Lohri, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are planning to have your post-graduation from any reputed college especially PGDM and MBA then in today's scenario the fees of any good college would remain surely high between 12 lacs to 18 lacs including all the facilities. My course is PGDM + MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff, England duration 2 years. Total fees of my course are 14,90,000 Rs including each and everything.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not availed any scholarship or educational loan. However, the college provides various scholarships along with facilities that will help you in availing education loan in case if you want to apply for an educational loan. The details of various scholarships and education loan facilities will be provided to you by the college to you.

Campus Life

4

The campus life inside UBS is really appreciable. The campus is completed surrounded by mountains. In rainy season you can get a view of waterfalls from the mountains. Talking about diversification, You will get a chance to meet people from many parts of India. Gender ratio generally remains high as compared to other colleges 60% boys and 40% girls. Talking about clubs we have various clubs like UIC Club, Marketing Matchbox Club, Finance Club and Sports Club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities provided by the college is good. The college provides single sharing as well as dual sharing rooms for the students as per the student needs. College also provides the facility of AC vs Non AC rooms. You will be provided with an almirah for keeping clothes, one bed, one table and chair with attached washroom and bathroom.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very strong. Ex-students of the college work in reputed companies and they stay connected to the college as well as the students of the college.

Admission

I gave two competitive exams CAT and CMAT. The college selects the student on the basis of the profile. Profile comprises 20% each for Academics + Competitive Exam Score + Communication + Leadership + Extra-curricular / Work Experience making it a total of 100%. I filled the online form of this college then I got the call for my first round of interview. It was a face to face interview at their Delhi office. I successfully passed my first round of interview. Then I got shortlisted for the second round of interview which is a telephonic interview with one of our international faculty.

Faculty

4.5

We have PhD holders in our faculty, we have faculties who had been at top-level management in various reputed organizations with an experience of 15+ years, we have faculties from IIMs as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
