Remarks

Our college administration is quite bad, they don't understand the needs of architecture department but our faculties are very much helpful what i know now all is because of their teaching and constant support but infrastructure is quite bad for a private college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course architecture is quite good but less opportunities in jobs in recent situation of indian economy. But the syllabus is not hectic.Classes are also very interesting. There is a thesis and internship in the last sem too

Placement Experience

0.5

no placement and internship are provide by the college, but faculties are quite good, i found internship by the help of my hod, college authority is quite frustrating in this placement matter, i found job on my own

College Events

1.5

College hold annual even and tech fest, there is also teachers day ceremony, sports day and football tournament also being organized by the college, there is zonasa for only architecture department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible as compared too other private colleges in west Bengal, 45k per semester is taken as tution fee, if you want hostel facilities you hav to pay 6k per month, there is extra charges for college id card and exam fees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I don't take any loan from my college, but my few friends have took, they have tie up with some organization and banks in this matter, if anyone required Educational loan college will make sure that you can avail that

Campus Life

2

There is anual cultural fest where dance drama singing events are organized, apart from that there is annual sports day and football tournament, labs are not well equipped, as it is an engineering college girls ratio is very low, but in my architecture department there was 8 girls and 7 boys,

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel accommodation is good, but the food is very poor, there is football ground and badminton court, veg and non veg both is available, but quality and taste both are very very poor, I stayed for 2 year in hostel and everyday i was punished by there foods

Alumni/Alumna

My batch was the 2nd pass out batch of my department, my seniors are not very helpful too us, but after our batch senior junior bonding is quite good, i still have good connections with my juniors and help them in many college projects

Admission

I take admission through wbjee according to merit list. After wbjee there is a online counciling and i select this college as it is most nearest one to my home. Then i visit the college and took admission.

Faculty

4

Faculties are good, well qualified and helpful, they have post graduation degrees, fluent in English and hindi too.But there is no teacher for personality development. There is only 5 teacher for architecture department

Placement Experience:

so if we talk about placements, then its currently not good but it does not means that placement is totally zero . it varies every year but currently its going down. so after 3rd year you can apply for internships and placements . and if you are in 1st or 2nd year then you can apply for free or paid internships to learn more and more to build you cv. Highest package offered was 2.68 crore rupees per annum and average package is around 18 - 20 lakhs rupees per annum. companies participated in last session was 61 and total offers made were 700. number of international offers were 19 (6 offers were more than 1 crore per annum). number of students placed in 2023 were 1750. popular recruiters were ITC limited, goldman, sachs, HUL . so those who dont get any job or they are not placed , they basically continue to become enterpreneur. my plans after completing my degree to become a famous architect.

Lots of Freedom. Depends on the student to use it wisely. The college does not have intime, hence people can roam around anywhere nearly any time. This increases the safely issue. Also, due to too much feeedom, students end up in substanxe abuse quite often. It is upto the student to wisely go about the utilise the freedom to build good skill sets and interact.

Being a private college under a branding, an environment of class segregation is created throughout the college which is not good for the mental health of students who take admission on the basis of merit. The class segregation affects the academics of the students as well. There is one good thing. There is a faculty feedback system that helps record the grievances of students regarding the teaching staffs and facilititates required measures to change the situation.
