Remarks

Overall, i would not recommend coming this college if you need real education but yes if you don't have any option then its fine you have to work hard and you wouldn't have a good guidance. There is limited opportunities here and you to struggle for things like internship, project, research papers. But the basic theoretical knowledge you get here is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I think the course structure is up to date and made in a way that a cse graduate can use what he learned in college to his job.I think the exam structure is a bit hectic because we have to write two mid exams for theory and a final exam also for lab we have one internal and external plus we need to take other non credit subjects as well.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities in the campus is very limited. The number of companies that visit for campus placement are also very less and they are mostly either a statup or a small company that too is only for cse students. No our college do not provide internship generally but occasionally once in a while one or two companies comes for hiring students for internships.

College Events

3

The number of technical and cultural events held in our college is very limited. There is one annual tech event called Veda that too is restricted to local college and do not have interesting things to participate into.Colors which was a annual cultural event that used to happen but they stopped conducting that as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well i am an international student so for me the fee structure is higher than the other students and i think it is a bit expensive for the quality they offer here. But the students of andra have various kinds of scholarship offered by government so that reduces the fee for them. For me i pay 67,500 rupees for a semester and 30000 for the hostel per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

As an international student i get a scholarship based on my semester exam performance.I get 33500 per year if i have a percentage above 80%.Also the locap students gets scholarship but i don't have details about that.Regarding loan, i don't have any knowledge.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is very balanced in ece, cse and it but no of girls are few in minning, petroleum, civil and mechanical.Culture events are held separately for boys and girls at each festival for every religions.Diversity is not so good but it is fine students from africa are also here.Overall the society here is conservative so there is certainly reservations about Religion sexual orientation. Also the economic status of people living is not so good in this area.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, i have opted for the hostel.I think the best thing about this college is its hostel. There are total 6 blocks each 5 storey for boys and 2 blocks for girls. All the rooms are 3 sharing with options of ac and non ac.The no of rooms are very sufficient for the students and in some academic year few rooms remains vacant so there is no issue of less no of seats.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no official alumni network in this college. The students have to work on their own to contact any senior or alumni.Yes they are helpful but.But the lack of official alumni network is a big setback.

Admission

I am a Nepali Student so i got an admission through foreign quota.I didn't face any kind of entrance exam.I got direct admission but for the students of India have to go through the state's engineering entrance exam or the JEE mains.I was always interested in the field of technology and i was pretty confident that i want to study CSE to be as close i can to the technologies.

Faculty

2.5

Honestly, i think the faculty are very average they are not so experienced and do not have much depth of the subject they teach with of course an exception of one or two professors every semester who are having good depth of knowledge about the subject they teach.

Yes the placements are good in my college but for the students who study well , the collge almost have 5k students strength in final years it not possible to give all the students high paying jobs since the companies who pay higher recruit less students , But most of students are being placed but for low packages In the end of 3rd year the placements are started and most important thing is students are categorised by their CGPA so maintaining 9+ Cgpa is very important for high paying jobs There are almost more than 100 companies which visit our college and i dont the exact numbers , The highest package obtained by our college student is 80 lpa

Placement Experience:

You can't expect any on-campus jobs here, the placement levels are very low. Only start-ups and local companies visit here however you can try different off-campus jobs. The highest off-campus package is 12 LPA and here the percentage of placements is too low as it is a tier 3 college. So I recommend if you choose your career or expect a high package, then this will be not for you.
