About my college {KOKRAJHAR GOVERNMENT COLLEGE}

In term of education our college is one of the best institutions in the Assam state for higher education. As we don't have to pay the monthly fee poor and middle class students can easily studied here.

The course structure is good. The Exams and Labs were chilled for me. There were three types of course in our college- higher education course,Under graduation course and the private post graduation course.

Only some placement and job opportunities are there in our college. No the College was not providing internship at all. The reason is that our college is only Post graduate College. Maybe only few internship was provided by our college.

There was two major events were celebrated in our college. They are- 1)BONJAR FESTIVAL known as college week In this event many types of games, cultural activities,modeling are held. This event is held for 7 days. 2)Ishan Mushahary In this event types of games and cultural activities were held. But other colleges or institutions can perticipate in this event. This event is held for 3 days.

Feasible, Our college is Government college. So that middle class and poor students can fulfil their dreams by studying in our college. The total fee for 11 and 12 class were same For Arts student- 7000 Indian rupees. For science student- 9000 Indian rupees due to practical fee and other. We don't have to pay monthly fee,it's free of cost.

No there is no scholarship/loan facility offered by our college. The scholarship was offered by government of India. There is no loan and scholarship was offered by our college. Our college offered us only the scholarship of the Government of India and other private companies like Oil India etc.

The extracurricular activities,labs,sports,etc.were good. The college gives us opportunity to show our telent in term of culture,sports by providing us facilities to participate in any state level or national level sports and cultural programmes. There was three types of student union in our College called KGCSU,BSU,BSLS. Both male and female were eligible for this union's member. There was no partition by any Race, Religion etc.

Basically now I'm not staying in the hostel but in the previous year I had stayed in the hostel. The hostel addmission is cost 4000 per year and we have to pay monthly 1700 for the hostel fee. In term of food meal it was excellent.The rooms are big but very old and also very clean.

Mostly the seniors are very helpful for juniors. In term of study they can also help us by sharing their knowledge. The seniors were also helps us by giving their books,notes etc. They also guide us with very good behaviour.

I got admission in this college selected in merit list. Admission is taken by the marit list. The minimum cut off marks is 40 in the 10th exam. For the 12 pass student it is also same. There was privet university for selected subjects in our college.

The faculty members of our college is good and educated enough to teach us. Most of them are PhD holder. They were good in behaviour and they were very friendly and helpful to us. The faculty members were truly very much good for us or students.
