Remarks

I would say good vibes all around as a positive remark. It's so good that some students become a teachers after completing their graduation to be in college. As a negative remark, I would say that they should increase the standard of the companies they are calling for placements and also should put less focus on theory.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Well, definitely the labs of the college are perfect undoubtedly. However, I think there is a little unnecessary focus on the theory which can be skipped and more practicals should replace it. However, the faculties try to cover every topic with equal importance and clarity.

Placement Experience

3

Well, there are no limits to how many interviews a student can attend and that's what makes it the no. 1 college in town. However, I would suggest that instead of inviting 50 smaller companies college administration should focus on raising the bar of MNCs getting invited.

College Events

5

The one and only Techno-Tech, republic day, independence day, Gandhi Jayanti, Special celebrations of sports day, yoga day, and many more. Also, we celebrate several regional festivals with equal importance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say considering the facilities of college that it's feasible. After the scholarship, I had to 24000 per semester and the other backward caste students had other special scholarships so I would say that they can offer some written scholarships for talented students but otherwise they are going well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed of the scholarship which was given to me during the time of admission on the basis of my CGPET ranking. My ranking was below 12000 all over the state and that's why I was offered a scholarship of 96000 on the whole course fees.

Campus Life

4

As mentioned earlier, labs are perfect. The ground is good, gardens need some more conditioning but it's ok. Gender ratios other than mechanical branches are almost equal in every branch. No partiality or discrimination was ever noticed on the basis of anything.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I did not choose the Hostel facility as I was a resident of the city. However, my friends used to stay in the hostel, and as every college hostel, they also serve equally pathetic food. I personally didn't like the food at all. They definitely need to work on that area.

Alumni/Alumna

I personally was not benefitted from the Alumni network but I must say that the TPO sir regularly tries to call more and more alumni to boost up the confidence of final year students. So I must say they can improve the network definitely it will help the students for getting placed in good companies.

Admission

The admission process was quite easier. I chose this college as it was the only best in town. Then I put up my entrance exam ranks and I got a scholarship also. There was a small interaction with the HOD of the Maths Department and he told me all the pros and cons of the college.

Faculty

4

80% of the faculty in the college are very polite, friendly, and guiding. The rest 20 are not bad but due to a slight age difference, they are not so much dissolved with young students. Every teacher in the college has one very good quality of not at all discriminating between any student on any basis.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
