Remarks

Academic wise the College in which I study is extremely good because of the solid foundation that can be made by the intervention and help of the experienced and efficient faculties. Infrastructure is also pretty good just the canteen is not really good

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is really hard. This is one of the toughest course and is sure hectic. But when we have passion towards this course definitely we can go a long way in reaching the epitome. Being a doctor and serving the society is something which I always wanted to do.

Placement Experience

5

We have a compulsory internship after our 4 and a half year course. The internship duration is 1 year and we have to work in almost all fields of medicine day in and out. This sure is a wonderful experience and most of the undergraduates will really understand their areas of interest and to what they have to pursue for their post graduation.

College Events

3.5

We have a cultural fest in the month of May which is held for a duration of 2 weeks in which the first week we have off stage events and the next week we have on stage events. They are quite big. We also have the annual sports meet in the month of March which extends over a month duration. This brings in the spirit and a lot of our confidence and enthusiasm can be enhanced.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparing a government College this fee structure is a bit expensive but eventually when you think about the greater good that will reach at the end of the course then this money is quite feasible. So it's fine.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am unsure about the loan facilities at the moment because I have not availed any for the same. As in I have not availed a scholarship for the purpose of fulfilling my fee payment procedures. But I have heard that there is certain scholarships.

Campus Life

4

In my College girls to boys ratio is like 5:2. The girl power is quite high. We have our arts club, sports club, academic club which we introduced by the ektheunion batch. Annual commencement of sports meet and cultural fest take place in the month of March and April.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel infrastructure and facilities are fine. We don't have a single room. Three of us share a single room. At times it feels uncomfortable but then when you think about it would be boring if we had single rooms rather than shared rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no completion without our seniors. They help us a lot in case of academics and extra curricular activities. We are like a family. I am glad I have found some good friends in them too. They have been really helpful and supportive.

Admission

Through neet selection I was allotted this College based on my all India rank and chose medicine. We had a spot admission in the month of October in 2016 which I attended and on seeing my marks and all India rank I got selected

Faculty

5

We have well qualified and government medical College retired professors who have a lot of experience in the field of medicine and has sure paved the way for us in reaching our goal. They are always there to help us in our thick and thin

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
