Thing education Thing Pavai

Good for sports and discipline. I like College infrastructure and atmosphere. Very good maintenance and conditions. Also best College for womens. But need improvement for teaching methods and increase placements.

I like this curriculum. Because no any other better method than current methods. Engineering is 60% theory and 40% Practical. Student should understand what is engineering, how to learn it, how to use and improve it.

Placement is not 100% Assure. Top IT companies conducted interviews but hired very leas students. TechMahindra and some IT companies. I think not best for placement. You should search yourself. Mechanical 100% no job.

Astra event is very popular in pavai College. Last 5 years they conducted astra event. Lots of culture event like painting, writing, sports, classical and modern game. Also conducted technical events.

Fee is average. College fee, bus fee/ hostel fee, exam fee, event fee, penalty amount, damage fee, material fee. Almost 1lack per year if you are hostel may be touch 1. 7L per year. They asking lot of hiden fee.

College not arrange loan for students. And not giving scholarship. Only government scholarship and quota Students only study without College fee. College provide some govt scholarship like Former scholarship, Cast based scholarship.

Very good College for you, If you are Sports person. Very big ground and provides lot of sports material for students. I highly recommend for sports students. You can visit ground photos via Google. Hostel students 100% use the ground till 8PM.

I don't have any special experience. Because it is a Engineering College, so we don't time to interact with senior and junior students. Mostly engineering College students are very reserved type so No idea about it.

I'm applying through Counseling. And I select my interested College names. Finally got admission in Pavai. Now admission process totally changed, because Anna university conducted on online counseling process. Easyly anyone can apply.

Faculty is poor. No experience. Last year ME passout people are working as a faculty. College should hire experience and skilled persons. Some faculties are good to teach, but mostly they don't know about how to handle engineering students.
