Remarks

The College on the whole needs to be more attentive towards the needs of students and try to keep up with their ideas. Better opportunities and encouragement should be provided and effort towards providing impactful education should be upheld.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is pretty good but the College does not take up measures to make it better. The faculty is underprepared to face the students and their entire curriculum solely focuses on the examination and not on increasing our skills.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell is offering us job opportunities for the final year students. We rarely get internship opportunities and I took up the opportunity and it turned out to be good. I did my internship in sales and marketing in finance-based company.

College Events

3

There is an annual fest, cultural and ethnic fest, technical and business fests. The College has a cultural team that takes care of cultural and ethnic fests. Each department on the other hand celebrates departmental events and encourages students to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for middle-class families. For my course i. e., B. com three-year fee total would come up to 1. 1L and the fee payment is made at the beginning of every odd semester. The fee for every year would vary slightly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our College doesn't necessarily provide us with scholarships but notifies us about external scholarships provided by other organizations based on castes and religion mostly. Many students have applied for these scholarships and have received them.

Campus Life

3.5

The dominant gender in the College is male, but priority and opportunities are given to both genders equally. There is a women's grievance cell and an anti-ragging cell as well. The College has a cultural squad to handle cultural events.

Alumni/Alumna

The College does have an alumni network but we haven't had any interactions with my seniors. Every year they conduct alumni meetings and most of them do manage to come to visit the faculty and management.

Admission

I heard about this College through one of my friends and decided to apply. Initially, I thought of taking up a bachelor of business administration but later changed my mind and took a bachelor of commerce. The admission process was pretty simple and once I met the counselor and the principal I had to fill out my application and pay the fee through a demand draft.

Faculty

2

The faculty of the College needs to have a better relationship with the students and improve the atmosphere in the College making it more sophisticated. They should concentrate on teaching us skills and improving our communication.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
