My Life - My college

The only good in the college is its atmosphere and the green surroundings around the college. The nagative is that is doesn't provide any extra faculties for research and the college is very far from the city.

The curriculum is very much old and it concentrates only on theoretical concepts and it will won't allow us to gain practical knowledge. If you are an under graduate student, then there will be no time to do research because there will be college for all the day and after the college we need to write the records laboratories. Exams usually conducted for 2 months.

There are very few companies come for placement. The amount of placed through on campus placements is very less and the packages is around 3 to 5 lpa. The college doesn't provide any internship facility. If we want to ant internship we need to do that in summer for not loosing the classess and attendance also.

In the college, cultural fests and technical fests will be conducted in the month of February and March and all the branches individually. For branches like CSE and ECE, 500 to 700 people will come to participate in the events and workshops. For other branch fests 200 to 350 people will attend. All th fests will be conducted by students only. The college management conducts induction meeting to invite freshers in the college. And the college management conducts alumni meet every year. Fo

The fee structure very feasible. As our college is a government college, the fee will be very low and it will be 10, 000 per year. And some students will also get the fee reimbursement also. As the fee js very low, it is very useful for poor students.

For merit students, there will be national merit scholarship. For this scholarship we need to apply it for every year. And for economically backward students scholarship will be given depending on the caste and the annual income.

There is a big ground in the college. Many students will play different games. And the college encourages sports. Some musical events also conducted. Every year annual day sports compitition will be conducted and winners will be awarded with prizes.

Hostel infrastructure is not upto the mark. And the charges also very low. Term fee will be 4000 per semester and every month we need to pay the mess fee. The mess food is horrible and one can not eat mess food all time because it's too worst. Hostel rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are also good. Water and current supply was not good.

Seniors are very supportive and alumni id alos very good. Alumni conducts some events to raise funds for the college and these funds are use for the welfare of the students. Seniors will teach us so many things to know how a student should behave infront of professors.

There will be two types of entrance tests to get admission in our college. One is EAMCET and another one is ECET. I got admission through ECET by getting state 4th rank in ECE domain in AP ECET-2016. The admission process is only certificate verification and they will ask us to pay the tuition fee.

Some faculty is very much qualified and if we listen to their classes we will get more interest on that subject. Some faculty not enough qualified and I am damn sure everyone attends their classes only for the sake of attendance.
