My TIMSR College Review

I did my masters from the TIMSR institute. It was a pretty decent experience that had a lot of assignment submission with evolving of our decision-making process. The college has one of the best faculties and top-notch accommodation facilities served with a state of the art campus infrastructure. Overall our institute pushes for the overall development of students, by providing them an updated curriculum and pushing them towards extra-curricular activities, which in turn helps in team building and leadership qualities.

Placements are pretty average. Some of the good brands do visit our campus during the placement session, but many of my batchmates including me are planning to join the family business. The placements are pretty good otherwise. Some of the companies that visited for the placement drive, included names like Amazon, Axis, Cap Gemini, KPMG, Axis Bank, etc. The salary package which was offered to our seniors was also pretty decent. It more or less depends, upon the communication skills of the student.

The main annual event was the cultural fest organized on a very small scale. Apart from that college has a sports department dedicated to organizing multiple sports throughout the year, in addition to the annual sports day. Our college organizes multiple workshops and seminars for the students. Numerous conclaves and symposiums are also organized in which students from different branches take part.

My fee was around 4.8 LPA and I was promised an equivalent package. But the highest package offered to our batch was around 9 LPA. So there is that. Apart from that college is pretty good, especially the amenities and the overall infrastructure is pretty good. For the second year as well, my fee was 4.8 lacs.

The infrastructure is pretty awesome and the buildings are also good. They are constantly upgrading the infrastructure and the facilities. The library is huge and houses a plethora of books from multiple domains. Students can also have access to e-books and numerous journals subscribed by the college. Outdoors games like basketball, Indoors games like badminton, TT Carrom, chess are available. The decent-sized gym is also available within the campus.

The admission process is pretty straightforward. You have to apply to the college with the relevant details like academics, entrance exam scores, etc. After that, you have to appear for the GDPI process, followed by the document verification process. The administration was pretty supportive throughout the admission process.

I am extremely satisfied with all of the faculty members. All of them were highly qualified with a lot of experience in teaching line. All of the teachers were very helpful with all. They were genuinely concerned about the future of students. They were very accessible and were keen to solve our issues.
