MY MBA from SMS College

The college provided us a good education and a decent amount of corporate exposure. It ultimately helped us to inculcate professionalism along with the rightful attitude. The college gave the best memories and was considered one of the best management colleges under AKTU. In addition to that, the course was also good and informative and helped us evolve with the course and take leadership roles in many reputed organizations.

The MBA program was easy but not simple. The syllabus was complex since we studying many of those subjects, like economics, finance, stats, for the first time. But with the help of our professors and seniors, we were able to get through the course. In addition to that, a better understanding of the curriculum was obtained through assignments and classroom presentations.

The internship and placement were amazing here. Pretty decent companies like Karvy, Motilal, SBI, Indigo, and many other companies have come for the hiring process, thus far. And the students were recruited on the basis of their communication skills and academic performance. Since my specialization was Human Resource Management, lots of good companies including Tata Chemicals, Jet Airways, Reliance JIO, Everest Industries, etc. came for the recruitment process. The average salary packages offered to our senior batch were around 3 LPA and the highest package was around INR 6-7 LPA.

For pursuing an MBA course from this college I paid Rs 2.6 lakhs/-. That means my per year fees were Rs 1,30,000/-. Apart from this the college also provides quality education with a good infrastructure. On top of that, there are options for the availing scholarship for the meritorious students.

Campus life was pretty awesome. Our college actively promotes sports as a means of overall development of the student. Sports activities like kho-kho, volleyball, cricket, table tennis are organized in our college with a final showdown during the annual sports day. My favorite events for the year would be, the farewell party and the freshers' party which features many dynamic performances like dancing, modeling, singing, and other forms of talent portrayal.

I applied to the MBA course from this college and for that, I had to qualify for the UPSEE exam. Along with this, my overall academic performance was also considered during the final evaluation of my application. Overall, the entire process was pretty exhaustive, but in the end, I was granted admission in the general category.

Almost each and every professor were amazing and they helped us gain a quality education with a better explanation. They all hold pretty decent qualifications along with an industry experience of more than 5 years. Their teaching methods include presentations that helped us to build confidence and conducting workshops to make us learn more.
