Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum here was set according to the AICTE. Hence, we had 4 semesters in total as well as fieldwork and internship which was mandatory. The core subjects I learned were important and compulsory subjects Managerial (Micro) Economics, Indian Economy & Policy, etc. We also had elective courses and it was purely our choice of selecting the subject area we are interested in. I was happy that I opted for Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring Financial Derivatives, International Finance as my optional subjects.

Placement Experience

4

Here one thing was sure that was an internship. The college inculcates internships as a part of the curriculum. And after the completion of my internship, we all had to present our work experience followed by a project report. Talking about the placement the jobs are provided by the Anna University campus drives organized for each and every final year student.

College Events

4

One of the workshops I attended was about the Importance of multi-rate signal processing for digital communication it was organized in 2016. Apart from this our college also organized an International Conference on Advanced Communication Control and Computing Technology this conference is actually an eye-opener event which helped us to understand the technical skills and management to strengthen our sales and marketing skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The amount for the MBA course program was somewhere to be around Rs 70,000/- in total. This much amount was actually good and affordable especially for me as I belong to the lower economic background.

Hostel Facilities

4

Commuting from college to home was quite tough hence, I applied for the hostel accommodation and trust me the facilities and the amount was really low. This actually helped me to save a lot of extra money I used to spend on travelling. Here the rooms were spacious with good and comfortable beds, along with this , we were also given study hours which was around 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This system was good and the main goal was to inculcate discipline in all of the students.

Admission

After I completed my graduation in Business administration, I was sure of pursuing the MBA program. so, I applied hereafter clearing my BBA with 70% as well as I also gave the TANCET entrance test, and fortunately, I met all the requirements set by the authority. This is how I got into this college.

Faculty

4.5

The professors were good and intellectual people, Their behavior towards each one of us was so good and friendly. Here we also were given the opportunity to gain some knowledge from the guest lecturers. Apart from this, their teaching methodology was innovative because of my professors, I was able to understand a subject like Financial Reporting, Statements, and Analysis very easily.

Actually the student of last semester student only participate in campus interview in a campus interview. they will selected 15 to 20 people in a campus interview. they don't select all the people and they came from local companies near by Salem.village area companies like a factories like cement company , manufacturing companies soda packaging company like that company offered as management training for the one year they will provide 15 to 20000 there will be a increment and promotions on that manufacturing companies . the student selected in campus interview they was well educated student and well known student about the MBA concept and they didn't they didn't fail in any subject they clear all the papers and get the good marks even first class students they are better but my interest was in local companies so I choose to go in big MNC companies but in my college they don't offer campus interview for the big companies they call only local companion so I don't have interested at local companies.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent, especially when one talks about its authenticity and compares it to a lot of colleges in the country. We are associated with some good names like EY, Asian Paints, SBI, Vedanta, etc. The mean and median hover around 8.5 - 9.5 LPA mark. Last Highest: 15 LPA and Lowest: 5.5 - 6lpa. Roles offered may not be the best, but they are decent too.
