Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The MBA curriculum covered all the essential management-related subjects approved by AICTE and had both theory paper(subjects like finance, human resource Management )As well as practicals like internship and fieldwork.

Placement Experience

4

The college does provide an internship as a mandatory part of the curriculum. As mentioned in the course structure, the area of an internship is generally the marketing and management sector. Along with this, some students were also given the opportunity to enjoy a stipend too.

College Events

3.5

Here all of us got the opportunity to acknowledge the international conference on advanced communication control and computing technology. Although the conference was for the engineering department there were some parameters in which we were also benefited as we linked the management as well as technology altogether to generate good knowledge regarding our entrepreneurship and development.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total estimated amount for the commencement of the MBA program was approximately Rs 60,000- Rs 70,000/-. The fee was actually affordable and I was happy that I could pay it from my own pocket. And as many of the students were not from good economic family, hence, for them this much amount was quite good to pursue higher degree professional courses like MBA.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels were spacious and most of the time the roommates belonged to different courses. Fortunately, I got my batch-mate as my roommate. The mattress and the beds were comfortable and the food was provided by the hostel mess. Apart from this, the washrooms were hygienic as well as sanitized.

Admission

To apply for the MBA program I remember I had to present all my academic documents stating my graduation degree with percentage along with this I had to get good scores in the TANCET exam followed by meeting the eligibility criteria and scores published by the department.

Faculty

4.5

The professors were different during each year and most of them were well qualified and hold a good number of teaching experiences. Their way of teaching was good as well helped me to learn the concept easily. Especially during my exam time, my professors were cooperative enough to clarify my doubts.

Placement Experience:

Following their first year, students must complete a mandated two-month internship, after which they are eligible for final placements after the fourth trimester. This year, over 150 firms came to campus, and there is a rigorous guideline of only one offer per student. The highest package provided on campus was 28 LPA, with an average package of 13.6 LPA this year. 95 percent of students are placed on campus, with the other 5% opting out for sabbaticals, additional education, or to establish their own business.

Time management is one real asset that I developed in these three months. Joining BIM has given me with an opportunity to meet people with varied backgrounds, get a good network of intellectual people and give a chance to learn Tamil. Much software that I learnt for problem solving has given me an edge over any other MBA graduate of first year in the country.
