Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was prescribed by Anna University. It was carefully curated in order to provide the students with a holistic view of general management practices in the first two semesters. The college is pretty great in terms of preparing leaders for the future. I opted for the finance stream.
Placement Experience
The placements are pretty great. Some of the frequent recruiters include WIPRO, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Communications, Rajashri Systems, etc. Though the packages offered are just okay and has a lot of room for improvement.
College Events
Our college has Red Ribbon Club and NSS which frequently organizes camps and different social activities. Many festive celebrations also take place in our college, especially Pongal, Diwali, Republic Day, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarships prescribed by the Anna University are available for the students. Our college also offers fee relaxation programs for the selected students. Students from a minor category are awarded a relaxation in fee.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are quite prevalent on our college. Numerous workshops, seminar, symposiums are organised in order to educate students about the latest advancements in the industry and live examples of what's we have learned in the theory classes.
Admission
Students have to appear for the TANCET MBA exam in order to be eligible for applying to the AMC college. Apart from that, a student must have a graduate degree from any field. Shortlisted students are invited for the counseling conducted by Anna University.
Faculty
Faculty was more like a mentor than a professor. We shared a pretty good bond with them. They shared their on-job experience with us, in relation to a particular topic from our syllabus. The guest lectures were also pretty informative.
