Remarks
My journey with the MIT was more of a roller-coaster ride. I learned a lot, especially from the faculty and partly from the library. The infrastructure and the campus surroundings were all pretty good. But the placement was one such area where the college still lacks somewhat. Overall, I am very much satisfied with my choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure was very thorough and had all the necessary element of a management course. We learned about the general management in the first year and in later year we opted for a specialisation. This way we got to vaguely learn things about the entire management and an in-depth look of the kind of job we will be pursuing.
Placement Experience
Placement cell is responsible for organising training sessions for the students. We had mock interviews and GD rounds, which were very helpful in boosting our confidence. The placement record was a different story altogether. We had limited on-campus opportunities.
Campus Life
NCC, NSS and various social activities takes place, right here, in the campus. We also visited many villages and organised a number of camps in order to spread awareness. Sports activities were also quite prevalent in our college. The annual sports day was one of the most electric day of our curriculum.
Admission
Admissions are granted on the basis of academic performance of the student. Especially, the entrance exam conducted by the BNMU university. The entrance test was a basic, but the interview round was quite grilling. Overall, the admission process is pretty straight-forward.
Faculty
We didn't had professors, we had mentors. They all were quite talented and well trained. Classroom sessions were a two-way lane, since our faculty would push us towards speaking more. We exchanged thoughts and learned from the best of the faculty.
