Review about AJKCAS

My college have good facilities when compared to other colleges including free bus facility. It is a eco friendly college. Teaching staffs are also good. They are providing good placement opportunities while compared to other arts and science colleges. The only negative point I have noted is their expensive fees structure.

My course is BCA and it is a 3 year duration course.Each year consist of 2 semesters so that there will be 6 semesters in total.In every semester there will be a final exam at the end. They also conduct two internal exams and a model exam before the semester(final) exam for each semester. In my opinion they are providing good and quality education for the students.

Placements are one of the highlights of this college. There are high job opportunities for the students from the campus placements.placements begins at the end of 5th semester.Only those students having above 60% or above marks and without any arrears will be eligible for the campus interviews.Top companies like TCS,INFOSYS and many others are coming for campus selections. For every semester, each student has to complete an internship training from any institution outside the college.The topic and subject for internship is based on student's choice.After completing the internship training, the copy of the certificate should be submitted to the respective tutor.

They are conducting many events and celebrations for major festivals. Events for each departments which consists of on stage and off stage events. College day is another attraction of the college like the department events where students from and outside the college can participate and win exciting prices. Then sports, seminars are also conducted. Celebrations for pongal, Onam ,Christmas are wonderful to watch and students can really enjoy and rock in the celebrations.

The fee structure is feasible for some courses while it is expensive for some other courses. Fee structure for Hotel management and visual communication courses are expensive than other courses. They increased the fees for some courses just one year before which made the fee structure expensive.

Students having more than 85 % marks in the higher secondary examinations will get a reduction in the fee amount or scholarship in the starting semester. Loan facilities are available for selective courses. A letter will be given by the college to avail loan for the respective courses.

The college gives students enough time for extracurricular activities in addition to their studies. It includes sports activities like basket ball, cricket , volley ball etc. College conducts sports, arts festivals annually. Lab facilities are also providing by the college for each department courses which are well equipped and comfortable.

Alumni network are very active in my college. Senior students are always there for any help and guidance for us. They helps in our subject related doubts and help in our placement programmes. Senior students helps in making Projects.

I just enquired about the college after seeing their advertisement in the newspaper.After that I went to the college with my parent and started the admission process.Students who have secured 50% or more marks in their higher secondary exams are eligible for getting admission in this college. They just verified my 10th and plustwo marksheets and I chose my degree and filled the form for admission with required details. Then I got the admission.

For every subject there is a separate faculty. Faculties are well experienced and qualified ones providing students with quality education.Also they interact with students and try to understand about student's weakness.The way of their teaching is such that the students can easily understand the topics.
