Remarks

College as whole is extremely good and is developing even more with increasing pace. There is no such facility lacking according to an undergraduate. Some improvements regarding infrastructure are required but they are on there way of improvement

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is a bit lengthy but yes it is worth it. Exams are held semester wise which are counted in internals and there are 3 professional/external examinations in 4.5 yrs. Apart from this regular internal assessment are also held

Placement Experience

4.5

Job opportunities are now at par available as the institute need to recruit many more faculties as per the guidelines. Internship is provided at the end of 4.5 yrs of MBBS course for 1 year only to the students of the college. Though internship is very hectic but compared to other medical colleges stipend is good around 25k per month

College Events

4.5

Most of the cultural and festive events are organized by student union of the college like Holi, diwali, janmashtami, maker sankranti almost all other festivals. Apart from that foundation day of the college and various other research workshops like cme and recently organised NAMSCON are organized by college authorities. There are various workshops held by the college on regular basis

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is highly feasible being the government college. Fees for MBBS course for 5.5 yes is just 5685 including hostel fees. For postgraduate fees is around 2000 and so it is also highly feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the college fees is only 5585 for 5.5 yrs no special scholarship is required to be provided I guess and for so small amount no loan facility is provided. Still if anyone still wished personal loan could be taken from the BOB bank in college campus

Campus Life

3.5

Institute campus has football, badminton, basketball, volleyball grounds which students can use anytime. Apart from that proposed swimming pool is also under construction. Also a inter college fest called RETINA is organized every year with whole array of cultural and sport activities and also celebrity nights. Labs are also well equipped and spacious

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, hostel infrastructure is awesome. Every student is alloted single/individual room which is well sufficient for an individual with basic furniture provided. Moreover student is allowed to make any kind of modification in his/her room including installation of AC without any extra charges to be paid. Security is also proper. Purified drinking water is provided via water collers. Washrooms are kept clean. Various BVG workers are appointed to clean washrooms and rooms and corridors

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and welcoming both academically and otherwise. No specific aluminium meets have been organized till date since only 2 batches have pass out. Sp connection to seniors is via social networking site or by direct talks.

Admission

By AIIMS UG entrance examination and then based on your rank during counselling college is allotted among all the AIIMS institutes. Student has to fill the order of preference for the college he/she wants and then based on his rank college is allotted through online counselling and then admission is given at the allotted college by showing allotment letter

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculties are extremely good and knowledgeable with experience of many years, except few faculties. Almost all of them have good knowledge, they only lack in teaching methodology which is gained by experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
