Remarks

Overall it is a good and a decent college. But some faculty teachers are very old so the quality of teaching is not that good the students need to self study in order to succeed in exams. Overall the infrastructure and the facilities are upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a very good and feasible one. It has a very good combination of both the practicals and the theory. There are mainly three exams in an semester known as the hourly, mid terms and the external.

Placement Experience

The is a very experienced placement cell that guides the students on how to apply and appear for the job interviews that are held in the college itself.they are very cooperative and helpful in nature.

College Events

Various events are celebrated whole the year that are well organised. The kissan mela is organised twice an year. Also youth fest helps the students to take part in various competitions and win prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the degree according to me is a very feasible one. The total fee for the degree is nearly 4 lacs.the fee for the first semester is nearly 70 thousand and which decreases as the further semesters go on.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various scholarships are provided by the college throughout the year for the students who are in need and who Excel in the studies.but there is a basic eligibility criteria of 7 ocpa that is required to get scholarship.

Campus Life

There is high quality equipment for everything be it labs , sports etc. The sports facilities for every sports is available.the university has also produced many Olympic players.so it can be easily said that the sports equipment is world class.

Hostel Facilities

The infrastructure of the hostel is ok ok and not that good. But the food provided by the hostel is very good. There are various grounds for various sports is available.the table tennis table is also available.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The is a strong alumni network of the students who have passed out from the college.also theg visit the college time to time to guide the students about their careers.also the seniors are also very kind and understanding.they help us out with the various study material and also any other issue that we are facing.

Admission

To get admission in the college you should have appeared in the jee mains exam. Your jee rank determines whether you will get admission in the college or not.it totally depends upon the merit list from the amount of students that have applied.

The faculty of the college is a very experienced one.the teachers have experience of a lot of teaching years and are also very Friendly in nature. The interact with the students very well and help us a lot.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.
