Good college overall but a bit strict

Overall college experience is good but students feel like they are studying in kindergarten or school because of strict rules and regulations students feel suffocated. Chairman is too strict. He even hits the students if he say anyone committing even a small mistake.

Course curriculum is pretty good. There are experienced lecturers but not all of them to precise. Btech course in this college follows rules of jntuh. Every student has to maintain minimum attendance percentage and also minimum subjects must be passed

Placements in our college are about average. Most of my friends who got placed in campus selections got the job in off campus placement drives only. Mostly bpo and call centre jobs comes for placement in this college. Internship is not provided

Events in our college are like very rare. Throughout my graduation there were only 2 events overall which were pretty good. This college focuses more on strictness and discipline. Annual days are also conducted very rarely

Fee structure is feasible compared to colleges in Hyderabad where as when compared to local colleges it is bit expensive. Moreover fee reimbursement is provided for people who are eligible for it. They collect more fines and extra fees unnecessarily to loot students

General scholarships are provided to those who are eligible. Loan facilities are not provided. I didn’t avail any scholarships or loan facility in my college as i was not eligible for scholarships. Student has to pay full amount in time to write exams.

Extracurricular activities are pretty poor. There is a big football ground, basketball ground and also cricket ground but there is no leisure period to play or any physical activities. Labs are under equipped. No good infrastructure.

Alumni network is very poor. They are not helpful at all. Once they are graduated then they no more have connections with the college. Only people who has some work with the college has communication with faculty or few students.

I got admission through eamcet rank I secured after my intermediate. Through eamcet counselling i got admission in this college. Reimbursement is also provided to students who are eligible for it. Firstly i got admission in Kmit hyd later i transferred my seat to jits knr.

Faculty is about average. The experienced lecturers we have are very limited. Other lecturers also teach pretty ok. Lab assistants are available in each and every lab. Faculty are little bit friendly and strict too.
