Review about my college

The only drawback is that hostel is mandatory for the students which makes the atmosphere stricter.

The course and curriculum is quite laborious, but that is expected out of a course like architecture. If attended regularly, the examinations feel like a breeze. The only downside of the curriculum i feel is the lack of research and awareness of current day practices and technologies.

There are no placements provided from the college. It is your work that speaks out to the world. students create their own portfolios and apply to firms in various parts of India.

Rs. 3,00,000 per annum + 1,00,000 for stationery and personal expenses.(including hostel fees) Besides this the laptop specifications required to run the softwares are high which means that a high end laptop is required. this would set you back another 1,00,000. ( architecture is an expensive course)

The college offers a design scholarship to students who excel in the subject of design. The students who receive this scholarship receive an amount of Rs.5,000 every month for the next semester.

The campus life is satisfactory. There is not much you can do post the 9am to 6pm time slot for college. You could hit the gym or play sports like badminton, football and cricket. There is not much to do outside the college either. Sonipat is still in its initial stages of development which explains why it's not a student centric city.

The hostel fee is Rs.1.5 lac per annum. The includes the mess service. The hostels are adequate. Hostel facility is mandatory for all architecture students which is the only drawback of the system on my part. Students though have the option to go out of the campus, however, girls have a restricted time till 7:30 and boys are allowed till 9:30.

There have been a few alumni meets in the past which proved to be fruitful for the juniors. it helps provide an insight of what the field requires.

My father had met Mr. Anil Kumar earlier at an event. having talked to him, my father entrusted him to sculpt a better human being out of me. the admission process was quite smooth. i had a chance to interact with the students as well. I also had a good opportunity to interact with Mr. Anurag Roy and former counselor Ms. Mohini Ghosh.

The faculty is well qualified and able. There are good teachers and teachers that aren't that good. I'd say the college struggles with finding experienced faculty. otherwise the nature of the faculty is good. but also keep in mind that this is a private college.
