ADVENTUROUS

I used to think college as a fun part but it is quite opposite of it.

I think exam structure is quite easy but doesn't help much in building of a good professional as here class learning is valued more than physical learning. We don't get much exposure to do practical work here . Often we are told to get the theory part by ourselves, no doubt learning theory and thinking about it make our imagination game strong . But until and unless we get practical exposure we won't be having any idea how things happen in real .

We are current the students so we don't have any clear idea about the internship process , but it is heard that we have to find our placements on our own and no placement is been done by college side.

We used to have different events earlier more often . We used to have cultural nights food dance music interaction enactments dj night and what not, but earlier . Past some year it is quite vanished as our respected faculty find it more irrelevant and loud so we used to have program of one two hours which have soft music and interaction and less fun and cultural activities.

Educational fees- 50,000 for bachelor of architecture and design. Other expenses such as transportation is nearly 5000. There are lot of expenses other which is mostly educational and academics one so we have to pay more of everything to sort out things out.

No i havent opted for any scholarship or education loan yet it is payed by my father . But as two of our family member me and my sister is here so i guess we are gonna have one .

Extacurricular murals is being held in our college on wednesday so that we perform different activity literature art fine and performing art is been done by the students of all the batches combinde just to make the environment lighter.

Hostel fees - 50,000 .hostel facilities is low than average , it's like we have to struggle for basic necessities in our hostel - kaveri house - orchid lounge, ironical. The microwave and laundry machine provided is i guess of 1999 often damaged and then repaired but never exchanged . Although hostel life used to sound fun back when i was in school but gateway showed the reality, much needed, hence, life.

They are very helpul they used to guide us in different ways we used to have interaction on different levels as well we used to have fun too.

Gateway college of architecture and design wasn't planned . It was a quick decision . Also,i believe whatever is meant to happen, happens. I googled asking for the best college in northern side and this was already shortlisted . Also my marks wasn't up to the required for admission in spa or any other very well known college( thanks to our education system) . So here i am.

I would like to thank our library for sharing so much of information to us . Also the faculty member for teaching us to do things for the marks. Some of the higher faculty member had been a blessing to us , they aren't only helping us build our professional career but also improved our overall human behaviour and perception .
