Placement Experience
Placement is the area where college has to concentrate. College do not provide much placement opportunities to students. Internship are also not provided. Students can apply for internship personally.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical sciences fee structure which is feasible for most of the students. The total fee of B. Pharmacy course is 3.56 lakhs. Yearly fee is 89,000 per year. Fees are not that expensive but according to the college and education it is high.
Fees and Financial Aid
College do not provide any specific scholarship to the students but students can take up scholarship offered from Biju Patnaik University of Technology or offer from other educational organizations. Loan facility from the college is not provided, but students are provided education loan facilities by several banks.
Campus Life
IGIPS very good library facilities, library has a capacity to accommodate 120 person at a time. There are 1197 number of titles, 9745 number of volumes, 42 National journals and 36 International journals.IGIPS has good collection of magazines, CDs, Journals. College has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students. Gym facilities are also available for students. IGIPS good extra-curricular activities which are beneficial for it students.
Hostel Facilities
Institute as separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Students can opt for hostel if we come from far away places. The hostel has separate mess and canteen facilities for both boys and girls. Hostel is well-built and has all amenities required.
Alumni/Alumna
IGIPS do not have any well-established alumni network or alumni committee. This is the area where they have to work and concentrate. We get seniors help in education, guidance from them for future steps. They help us in solving our doubts. College do not host any alumni functions which could guide present students.
Admission
Admission in Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical science held through entrance exam and on merit basis. I am doing B Pharmacy course from this Institute. I wrote OJEE exam and got merit, after that I got admission in this college. College intake for B Pharmacy course is about 100 students.
Faculty
The faculty of IGIPS is good. The faculty helps students in solving their problem. They guide students on their future steps. Faculty are always available to help students. Sufficient faculty is available in the college.
