Remarks

The infrastructure of the college is perfect., the campus is located in Mysore which offers green and clean atmosphere. My college has 22 class rooms with multimedia facility and a Seminar Hall as well that can accommodate 180 people.

Hostel Facilities

The enrolled students are provided accommodation in hostels, there is separate hostel for ladies and gents. Accommodation is provided on the basics of single, double or triple room occupancy though the students have to bring their own bedding and other personal requirements along with them. For ladies hostel, the fees is almost INR 9,000 and for boys its almost INR 8,000.

Alumni/Alumna

though there is a separate Anti-Ragging Committee in my college but here all my seniors don't need any kind of supervision to stay away from all such activities as they are very humble and down to Earth. No such kind of activities have being witnessed in last many years

Admission

I am doing PG Diploma in Forensic Speech Sciences & Technology (PGDFSST), post clearing my entrance exam; I was called for personal Interview in order to get Admission here. The students who have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination are called for next round of interview.

AASH hires best and quality teachers only so that they can help students in learning their course. Dr. P. Manjula who is a Professor in Audiology is highly experienced and always help students like me in clearing all of their doubts

Placement Experience:

Placements provided on the campus are average and students completing half of the course can avail for the placements. cognizant is one the company that offers role of Google adwords and DWAO is another one that offers the role of analyst trainee, likewise there are around 100+ companies that offers roles to students of our campus. the highest package offered is around 350000 and the lowest is 180000 for a fresher. I think around 20 to 30 percent of people get placed.

The name of the exam is aiish entrance exam conducted at the national level nearly 4000 students will enrol for the exam. The application fee is approximately 2000. Exams were conducted based on the 12th syllabus with physics biology and chemistry. The admission is based on the entrance examination. Any candidate either PCB or PCM can appear fro the exam. It consists of 50 que each from biophysics and chemistry. There is no negative marking and each question carries one mark. yes, you can avail obc certificate and other reservation certificates. The good the bad and the ugly.

Admission was through an entrance examination. I had received the 22nd rank in AIISH entrance examination and hence I had gotten in for merit seat. To be eligible for the course you need to have completed your PU having taken science stream. The application form, fee and dates are updated in the site of aiishmysuru. Reservation is there for all categories (OBC, EWS, SC/STetc.). There are reservations for diploma candidates as well. The admission process can be a bit tedious as you need to pay the money then and there via online mode, cash is not accepted....Read More
