Course Curriculum Overview

This course is based on speech and hearing majorly focusing on 2 things. One is to provide therapy for people with disabilities including children and adults and the other is to diagnose rehabilitate and address hearing impairment for all populations. most of the faculties had done PhD and there are approximately 200 faculty. The exam is done semester-wise. It's difficult to pass the exam. Most of the time there will be 8 questions and from that 4 have to write.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available and we can personally select whichever college we want. If doing the internship in south India stipend of 5000 is given and if working in north India get stipend of around 6000

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of the course will be around 4 lakh. But subtracting the stipend that is provided monthly about 800 for 3 years and the internship payment monthly 5000 the total cost will be 3.5 lahks. A bond of 4 lakh is signed Scholarships are available based on certain criteria like family income.

Campus Life

Annual fest is a big event happening here known as Aawaaz which came from the name of a software for AAC. All colleges oc speech and hearing are invited and will be participated. other than that onam Diwali xmas kannadarajyolsawam( that is happening once in 4 weeks in a month ) lac is the only club in this institute. There are also NSS events happening every week. library has lots of books. This library is the no 1 library in Asia for speech and hearing

Hostel Facilities

For average there will be 4 students in 1 room. A maximum of 6 is the limit. Mess bill will be of maximum 2500 which is paid monthly and hostel fee of 5000 is paid yearly. There are 2 hostels. One is Kapila ladies' hostel which is inside the campus and the other is the Bodi men's hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

The name of the exam is aiish entrance exam conducted at the national level nearly 4000 students will enrol for the exam. The application fee is approximately 2000. Exams were conducted based on the 12th syllabus with physics biology and chemistry. There are 40 merit seats with 20 seats for OBC and 20 for general other reservations like sc st are there. only 8p seats were there for this course.

As there's is positive mentioned above, there's also some negative's. College won't have an good atmosphere, like peaceful campus. There's also no specific classrooms. the theory classes are taken inside college auditorium. As it is an hospital we should understand that.

Honest review

The admission is based on the entrance examination. Any candidate either PCB or PCM can appear fro the exam. It consists of 50 que each from biophysics and chemistry. There is no negative marking and each question carries one mark. yes, you can avail obc certificate and other reservation certificates. The good the bad and the ugly.

Admission was through an entrance examination. I had received the 22nd rank in AIISH entrance examination and hence I had gotten in for merit seat. To be eligible for the course you need to have completed your PU having taken science stream. The application form, fee and dates are updated in the site of aiishmysuru. Reservation is there for all categories (OBC, EWS, SC/STetc.). There are reservations for diploma candidates as well. The admission process can be a bit tedious as you need to pay the money then and there via online mode, cash is not accepted....Read More

Eligibility of the course is to crack the entrance exam of AIISH to join I'm BASLP.the candidate has to be a 12th standard completed student from any exam board and he / she must have minimum of 40 percentage in the aggregate subjects. We can find the application from AIISH Mysuru website and every year the website will contain the details of the dates to apply and write the exam. If the candidate belongs to reserved categories like OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, there will be reservations. The only improvement that I want to see in the admission process is the announcement of details of the dates on any good YouTube channels and make more awareness and spread it as much as possible, because many of the candidates don't even know the dates until an unless they are following only YouTube channels....Read More
