Remarks

faculties and principal are very motivating and are a great inspiration for students like us i personally feel that way because till my schooling my academics were not so good here i got soo much motivated and inspired by them

Course Curriculum Overview

its very goood. there are mainly 4 core departments and in every semester the side subjects changes now coming to exam structure there are practicals for 4 core departments and the theory exam are for all the subjects

placements and job opportunities are very very vast as hotel industry is a kind of industry which can never stop so i can say job opportunities are endless and talking about scope , that is too very big

College Events

there are may events celebrated in our college like skill fest , sports events , chefs competition , bartending competitions , and what not every alternative weekend there are management games are conducted for improving management skills

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure is not very expensive as it is a government college so in comparison to other private colleges the fee structure is not expensive at all it is feasible and affordable every semester has a different fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

yes they provide scholarships but the basis of the scholarship is only for schedule casts/ schedule tribes so they need to fill a form and sumit to the accounts department and rest can be known from the college website

Campus Life

extracurricular activities, labs , sports are very good because this industry needs skills, fitness, flexibility, leadership qualities, team work etc so sports and other activities are very important and yes they are good here

Hostel Facilities

yes i did opted for hostel in first year then there is an industrial training in 3rd semester so after that i choose to stay outside not in hostel but hostel environment and warden are very good but if i rate the hostel from 10 it is 7

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

yes definitely they are helping as well as helpful and also this industry is all about connections so yes they are very helpful we can contact them anytime they always help us and also provides the needful

Admission

first of all its is for government colleges and what you have to do is first you have to apply online for NCHMCT entrance exam then qualify it and according to your rank you will get a college you can also fill preferences

faculties are well knowledgeable and good in communicating with students they are very friendly and eager to teach and give knowledge to us even though it is skills or anything like that , they are very good at delivering everything to us

My IHM days…

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester on, students are trained mentally to participate in the placement process. The first step is to choose the representative who will take charge of the particular set of students for example their resume building, resume submission, informing students about the upcoming companies arrival in the institution for placements and the designations for which they are coming. Nearly from the 6th semester, placement process starts to take place. Name of the companies are: Taj hotels snd resorts Oberoi hotels and resorts Delhi duty free Arvind fashion Lemon tree hotels Madhuban resorts Club Mahindra Mariott hotels Starbucks Highest package was around 4.50lac/annum Average package was around 2.25lac/annum Nearly 77% students were placed from the colleges placements, few opted out for further studies. I was placed in Marriott Hotels.

My life in an hotel industry

Placement Experience:

Form last semester 6 that is the final year final semester after that you are eligible for the placements. There are many companies and hotels with are a part of our college placement. College provides opportunities to be selected in the PI round and get a job at these hotels. Companies like Radisson blue, Marriot, and many more are a part of college placements. The interviewer will not select you on the basis of your looks or way of talking but also from the way you carry yourself, your skills, your way of handling things, knowledge and all sort of things.

My NCHM CT jee score 972 so I could also applied for the IHM Pusa but I applied in the SIHM indore because it was closure to my hometown Jabalpur.I could have chosen Bhopal but my parents suggested me not to go for IHM bhopal because of the city environment.Also I applied for IHM GWALIOR,IHM RAIPUR,IHM BHOPAL ,SIHM INDORE .I got selected for SIHM indore in the first round of counselling so there is no question for Rejection. Admission starts from getting suitable score from NCHMCT JEE exam conducted by NTA. National Council for hotel Management and catering Technology. 21 Central Government Institute. 28 State Government Institute. 31 Private Institute.
